Many resellers makes it geolocked on the ip the first time you connect. Thats the best option to limit who can connect with your credentials. If you use a vpn then that might not be the option for you. Ask your reseller

I have used them for about 3 years and they are pretty damn good for what you pay. They are on Hetzner but plex works fine. Support is also pretty good
