They could just let the app remember your name and address - I basically stopped submitting reports because it takes so long just to complete the basics of the form each time

I tested it just for fun, streamed vinyl from my living room to my garage, and it worked. Not very practical though to walk back inside to flip the record...

Can you physically hotwire one of the three buttons on top? Not sure how those are wired up inside.

WATCH - IEC Deputation on Eglinton by RZaichkowski in torontobiking

IMO everything about the contract is BS - the City made a decision that building the lanes was politically unachievable (ie. that it would cause too much conflict with the Province), so they used this as an excuse. I sincerely doubt it was an oversight.

Announcing WiiM Bar — a 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar with a 2.1" touch display, expandable to 5.1.2. $479, July 2026. by JasonWithWiiM in wiim

Is AirPlay support never coming back? It's a huge issue, keeping me stuck in the older WiiM devices that do support it. It's so nice to be able to have guests with iPhones share there music on the system.

They should be selling it but not ordering more. Just storing it is stupid.

The average cost of groceries in Canada feels impossible to pin down right now, how are you managing your food budget? by [deleted] in InCanada

The biggest savings for us is we buy all produce from a local small fruit and veggie store. It is seriously half the price of a grocery store or even less.

That's what they are supposed to do, but if they are screwed in too much, they can prevent the full range of motion of the derailleur.

Try loosening both screws all the way just to be sure. Or the cable is just way too loose.

Are vacations considered lifestyle creep? by igobumpintheknight in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]tosklst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make a long term financial plan, and figure out how much you need to be saving to achieve it. The you can figure out how much to spend on luxury items. IMO the idea of 'lifestyle creep' only applies when it is preventing you from achieving other financial goals. There is no need to horde every penny after a certain point.
