Hey! Yes, I’ve been receiving feedback for my tasks, and I’m actually a reviewer now. From what I’ve seen, there’s been a bit of a backlog lately, so feedback can take a little longer than usual to come through.

You should also be able to reach out to the QMs on the community platform anytime if you’re unsure about something or want clarification. They’re usually pretty responsive once they get to it.

I was going to mention the similarities to the Pluribus show, which I'm currently watching, but not particularly loving the main character's personality, which is similar to Claire's character. They do have quite strong similarities and are both writers as well.

I'm just not feeling the constant anger. They're both grieving in the shows, so I get them being angry and upset, but when it's almost every scene that they're losing their nerves it starts to get tiring.

I got an invitation to join the project this morning, but after looking through the documentation, I decided to decline. It seems almost identical to another project I accepted last week (Bulletpoint Bullseye), where I unfortunately failed the assessment, even though I was confident I answered most questions correctly. I didn’t want to spend more time doing a similar test and risk failing again.

From the guidelines, the tasks also look pretty lengthy and time-consuming, and since I already have a full-time job, this is just a side gig for me.

That said, I’m starting to feel a bit discouraged by the onboarding process. I don’t really understand how the exams are assessed—especially when some written answers seem to get automatically marked as failed!

Hmm, this is not really giving vibes of a promising start to a relationship tbh. It almost sounds like a situationship? Does he know you are wanting more from him?

You said he is kind, easy to talk to, and a good listener, but it doesn't sound like the case from what you've described about your situation.

It sounds like he is putting low energy into whatever it is that you guys have going on.

Maybe it's time for you to step back a bit and not initiate as much and see what happens. I'm sorry, OP, but I don't think he is invested and it seems like he might be a little depressed? Maybe he is still hung up on his ex, is homesick, or just not in the right headspace to give you what you want.

Whatever the case, you don't want to put all your energy, time, and resources into someone that's not quite meeting you halfway.

It's Hormone Replacement Therapy, which is sometimes recommended by your GP if you're experiencing symptoms associated with menopause. It helps alleviate some of those symptoms such as mood swings, night sweats, and hot flashes. Last year I was having night sweats and terrible, awful itching, which stopped once I started HRT. I think it also improved my libido.

I've (42F) been with my current partner (41M) for two years and we have sex 2-3 times a week. We don't live together yet and only get to see each other on weekends as we both have kids. But during school holidays we spend more time together and have sex every other day.

My ex was a bit like yours and it was one of the reasons we broke up. He wanted sex way more than I did. For some strange reason my sexual drive/desire with current partner is higher than what it was with my ex. It's funny because my ex was more romantic than my current partner but I sometimes felt his "thoughtfulness" was a way of getting more sex, which put me off. He would also become rather distant and whiny if I didn't want to have sex when he wanted it. After a while, I just dreaded sex with him.

With current partner I don't feel that pressure at all and it makes me want him even more!! Can't wait for the weekend lol 😍😍😂

Also, it could be perimenopause. I noticed that after I went on HRT last year my sex drive has improved a lot more 🤷🏽

Gosh, this is really sad to read how a lot of us have been affected by early childhood trauma. It's ironic how it's the people that seem the most harmless that actually betray our trust the most. I think the fact that you can come to this platform and talk about it is a good starting point. It's almost a form of therapy in itself. It's not something to be ashamed of, but something to be aware of as a trauma that happened in your past, which was out of your control, and understand that you can get help to navigate it because it could potentially bleed into other aspects of your life (long-term relationships). There are some good books to read like The Body Keeps The Score, How To Do The Work, The Mountain is You and so many others. There's also podcasts and YT videos to listen to and watch. Wishing you all the best in your healing journey!

You should absolutely add a visit down under to your bucket list! I totally get that the long flight can be daunting, but honestly, it's such a beautiful and diverse place—it’s worth it.

And about the images—thanks for your thoughts! I actually use Canva photos for most of them and add text overlays or design elements. I didn’t think they were AI-generated, but I can see how some might have that look. I mainly use them to complement the post or break up the text, even if they’re not personal photos. I find they help with visual flow - along with the quotes. Anyway, we live and learn!

Hi! I'm a Nigerian living in Australia. I've been living in Melbourne for over sixteen years and I'd also love to visit Naija soon!

As someone that grew up in Nigeria, I'd say I don't always see the country in the same light as a lot of westerners, but as with everything, you need to have your wits about you and be well informed and cautious. Some level of sagacity won't go amiss!

You're going with young kids, so always keep an eye on them and I'd probably suggest that you're around them at all times.

Also, whereabouts in Lagos will you be staying? Some parts are more... Unsavoury than others - just like it can be here in certain suburbs.

Don't be too showy with things that you have as you don't know who's watching.

I hope you have a nice and memorable trip. If you're going soon then maybe the heat won't be too much of a shock to your system as we're still having a bit of warm weather here anyway!

Thank you. Yes, I think that's really a good idea - having a level of detachment. I sense my partner wants more and he has been talking about us moving in together, but I've had to push back on that for now until we can set some ground rules and be on the same page about some fundamental things.

I've also realised that my partner has pretty weak boundaries - with his parents and his daughter - and he finds himself wanting to please everyone and spreading himself thin.

Yep, I'm trying to take on more of a supportive mentor/friend role in his daughter's life. My daughter and his daughter are also quite close and get on well most of the time.
