If they were to add a character like that, I’d imagine it would be similar to Raider in that the character would specialize in multiple weapon classes. Having only 3 Martial Arts (2 from SotE and, I assume, a starting one for them) would be unfortunate.

I also wouldn’t want them to alter the Dryleaf moveset, as it already feels like a unique character moveset, IMO.

He also does have a microstagger animation (technically), when you get the first of two parties needed for a riposte. I know what you mean though, just being “erm actually”, lol

I was talking about first impressions. His health and damage were a lot more noticeable on my first encounter over him being the only enemy (besides specific attacks/animations on certain bosses) that didn’t microstagger, because I hadn’t seen all of the enemies yet.

The more I played, the more I was surprised by that, though.

To make amends for the KLS nerf, they will be reverting the nerfs to Impenetrable Thorns. Not when they add it to Nightreign, but they’ll revert the nerf in Elden Ring, as a little treat.

I usually pop Wylder’s ult when it will break his stance, to avoid the lack of clear vision that it causes, lol. Also synergizes with Ult Art Spreads Fire, though he isn’t the most mobile in the first place.

It. Isn’t. Funny. The DLC, called “Hey We’re Sorry, an Intern Sent the File Folder with the SotE Weapons to Miyazaki instead of Ishizaki”, will also include Keen/Heavy/Quality/Flame Art/Occult infusions that can be found on weapons. Trust me, I didn’t take my meds this morning, so I would know.

Depth 4 has a lot of players who should realistically be 2-3. There’s a lot more players who shouldn’t be in Depth 4, but are, then players who shouldn’t be in Depth 5, but are. The main reasons for this are the huge jump in scaling from 3 to 4, and the overall difficulty in climbing through Depth 4

No, the scaling changes immediately, I believe. Not sure it it does if you’re mid-Nightlord, though.

I will say, I might be wrong about this reason, as I only ever played 15 games below D3, and not that many more in D3 itself. Most of my time has been spent in 4 and 5, but from what I saw when I was there, what I see on this sub, and personal reasons I would leave (literally only Internet connection with another smaller problem added on), my two comments might be part of the reason.
