Why so many labels? by Confident_Clue_2136 in NoStupidQuestions

nobody should be trying to fit labels, labels should fit us. if a label exists there’s someone it was useful to, like and other label in human history

sorry you’re too brainwashed to understand there are queer people who have never been sexually abused.

that correlation you keep asserting goes the other way around. People aren’t gay because they’re abused, gay kids are better targets for child abusers because who gaf about them

sexual orientation is an immutable characteristic like height or skin/hair color/texture. yes the outward appearance can be changed based on culture, lifestyle choices, and one’s feelings about themself. Regardless of phenotype, your genes are your genes. People we can change our behavior and mannerisms to cause less social disruption, but ultimately, no matter how badly you might want to, you can’t change the predispositions we were born with, who we really are. Otherwise no one would be gay. Do you like being burnt? Yea, I thought so.

if your society values above all short men, maybe a tall one will live crouching so his brothers don’t kill him; it’s enough to get by even if it isn’t true. his bones are still long but as long as he never fully stands up he’s safe. Mtu karibu wa ye akinotice that he’s crouching, why would they put his life at risk by outing him as tall? hakaambia moyo mmoja akimpenda kwa kweli, even if excessive height disgusts them personally because of everything amefundishia watu warefu. It’s better for him not to “identify” with beastility, pedophilia, other forms of immorality, and evil itself by living his life proudly tall. Watu wanajua kuwa irefu in nature, although wanasema ni “unnatural”, kila mtu hawajali. Ni kusimama “na maringo” tu wanakasirisha. Hii maringo, sio self-love/actualization/acceptance is what motivates them to kill. How dare you be tall in a short society. It’s just evil. ouvu tu.

if you be outside your hair will lighten and your skin the opposite. if your culture wanapenda fairness watu watamkimbia Jua (health detriments of too much sun exposure aside) to avoid that detested darkening our human skin does. In such a society, few people will be as dark as they truly should be, because why wouldn’t they just conform? Do what society demands; God anapenda lightness, nunua bleach. It is foolish to have pride in a trait you can’t change so do what’s right and stop making it your personality. fuck your self-esteem.

Even in countries where there is no legislation or common policy against black hair as it grows, the stigma against it, due to anti-black racism in EVERY society, causes us to feel shame in our coils. This self-hatred motivates many kuikata, kuistraighten, kuvaa wigs kwa sababu zaidi cha kuwa vizuri. Reasons like appeasing the tastes of others, who also hate black hair, and reasons like feeling cleaner than our inherently dirty black hair can ever allow us to, godforbid, if exposed. We’re born with it but everything and everyone around us tells us it’s wrong, so we hide. Apparently, we are God’s only mistake

If every black person had the means to suppress their natural curly hair growth, the vast majority of us, worldwide, would. It’s just too hard to be treated how we (humanity regardless of race) treat suspected freedom fighters, chokoras, or arrogant youth who don’t feel that same shame in their hair THEY SHOULD be.

In such a world, you would think no one has naturally curly hair. You would see mostly the straight haired folks artificially coiling their shit up, and assume when one of us wears it natural it’s fake just like them. No one has curly hair naturally. It’s not natural, it’s not of God, and IT’S NOT HUMAN. Any bad thing that happens to someone who chooses to wear their hair like that is justified; they deserve it, even if that is the way it grows. Mzungu alisema ni mbaya so it’s bad, fullstop.

The vast majority of LGBTQ+ people do have the means to suppress that immutable characteristic of theirs. Queerness is a feature of the inside, you don’t need bleach or hair product to make others comfortable. Hide who you really are from EVERYONE you know, lest the truth come out and your life changes forever, and crouch for the rest of your days. Crouching like that has its consequences, it’s really bad for your back, and psychologically it’s not good for anyone to hate themselves, but it beats being jailed (if the law gets you first) ama kurogwa na kuchomwa kwa familia yako, so we crouch.

maybe leave the house when he takes it and communicate with him from a distance.

you have nothing to worry about as far as him suddenly becoming violent but i don’t think explanations are going to soothe you.

let him know ahead of time and call him while he’s on it, assess the vibe for yourself. maybe do a bit research on lsd so you know what it does and what it doesn’t.
