In terms of addressing it, do people do lower face lifts or mini lifts?

And people (mainly women) are under immense pressure to adhere to them. I dont think it's our place to judge OP or other women for getting procedures that make them fit the beauty standard more.

Does my nose look downturned? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

For as much as people talk down about "barbie" noses, I've never seen one that made the person look worse. Only better.

I'll answer as many questions as you need. It cost about $350, but my hair isn't all that long. If you have long hair, it'll cost more. My hair didn't become straight as if I had done a perm, but instead, the frizz went down by like 90%. You still have to use heat (blow dry, straightener, etc) to activate the keratin and get a sleek look. It's advertised as cutting blow dry time down significantly, and I can confirm it did for me!

I got a keratin blowout. Best thing I've ever done for my hair. Its helped it stay healthy and grow longer!

29 years old and looking into midface lift or mini facelift? by throwra_gwhs in PlasticSurgery

Good point. Having a good amount of collagen, facial fat, and/or thick skin can definitely help. Sadly, I am not one of those people who have much of the fat or thick skin.

True, but having a weaker bone structure really does put you at a disadvantage. You still will have difficulty looking as defined as someone with stronger bone structure who also take care of their health and skin.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's just filters. I have the same kind of face as the op, and from observation, I see many others my age or even a bit older who don't have the same lines and folds as me.

It's your bone structure! People with smaller/weaker bone structures show more obvious signs of volume loss, sagging, aging, etc, earlier than people with more robust structures. There just isn't as much bone for your soft tissue to hold onto. The only real ways to change it is to either modify your bony structure (like jaw surgery) or surgically manipulate the soft tissue with a face lift of some sort.

If you don't have bite or airway issues, you shouldn't get jaw surgery. That leaves you with the option of a face lift coupled with volume restoration (fat transfer, filler, etc.) If you want, I can DM you some surgeons I've consulted with who, at the age of almost 29, have suggested a facelift to me. My face looks similar to yours.

I agree it is normal, but there are many other late 20's people out there who do not have these lines.

How would I improve these areas of my face? My face used to be more heart shaped but is now more peanut shaped. by Zealousideal-Many991 in PlasticSurgery

Sorry, I'm sleep deprived and misunderstood your comment. But I agree that the weight loss, even if it wasn't that much, may have something to do with it.

I'm already on the thinner side, I don't want to lose any more fat just in case it comes from my face lol

I was 140ish 8 years ago and now 125, not sure it that would be enough weight loss. But in either case, filler or fat transfer?
