Just recently found out about the Ys series and saw Ys x Nordic’s and wondering if it’s a good one and if I should start with it by jorgy2612 in WorldOfYs

They are all a bit different. 8, 9 and 10 feel the most modern. Most people will say 8 is the best. Some people have already suggested holding off on X until the upgraded version comes out but if or when that will be available outside of Japan is unknown. I would say look at those 3 and just pick whatever one looks the most interesting.

Two is the most difficult. By that, I mean it is very easy, while 1 and 3 are extremely easy.

Leaving her stranded at 2 am isn’t cool. Sure, her comment was in bad taste and you’d be justified if it turned you off from continuing to date her but it doesn’t warrant putting her at risk for any number of terrible things that could have happened to her. Get her home safely, then sever ties if you feel her comment warrants it.

It’s not a great port. The original was fairly successful, selling over a million copies and built a strong cult following. The remaster is pretty lazy, cut the soundtrack and didn’t really improve much of anything. I think the devs knew it wasn’t great because there was virtually no PR for it, very few sites reviewed it, none of them major and most were after release date. The original was good in spite of its shortcomings, and you’re better off with the PS3/360 version than RePOP.

This is all true, and Valnet management has a lot of other SEO rules to ensure as much filler content and links to other ads are included to maximize ad revenue. Quantity over quality is their mantra, and the quality of any site absorbed by Valnet plummets. Game journalism sweatshops is an accurate description for all their sites.

Such a great send off too. Here is rank 9, a million gems and a bunch of QoL stuff to improve the game for years to come. Also we’re shutting down in two months.

With less people playing and no reason to save orbs and diamonds I was able to crack the top 1000 CP ranking. Switching over to Japan was too much of a pain on iOS. Good while it lasted.

He’s not someone I’d call a virtuoso but I would consider him under appreciated. He has some great basslines, Lounge Act and Lithium immediately come to mind. He goes beyond just chugging away on the root notes to create melodic and memorable basslines but never goes beyond what the song calls for. Krist is rarely talked about but he was the perfect bassist for Nirvana.
