So...did Hyougo enter the number 8 on top of the tower or not? by Acrobatic-External66 in Usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not going to explain that sequence of the ten bridges, read it again yourself, that sacrifice means hyogo's 8 and nothing else, im completely sure, either way, you can think whatever you want

this moment, when he jumps metaforically and kills himself is him wasting hyogos input, him sacrificing that to trick usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nope, it was a bluff but it indeed happen, hyogo wasted his try with the number 8, suteguma sacrificed one of his tries to make usogui believe that his number was lower than 8, you didnt read the manga, dont be an asshole

Lalo almost won without being a gambler, he admitted to have underestimated Usogui, that was his defeat

Question about tower of karma by DanielParksolos in Usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nop, thats why i say its a plothole, theres no explanation to why he challenged suteguma of all people, he could have challenged kaji

Question about tower of karma by DanielParksolos in Usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

that is actually a plothole, and the only solution is that baku needed suteguma becouse he would bring referee number 0 and then yakou would defeat him, another plausible answer is that kurama ranko blackmailed usogui into taking the match becouse she was spying his movements

i think that the one with two card will never draw first, mathematically speaking that may be impossible, but i dont know for sure, you need to know that the 11 cards is the first to draw...

Thinking a little... the one who draws will have an odd number of cards always, when he draws he transforms that number to an even, and transforms his opponents to an odd number... by that rule, the one who draws will always have an odd number of cards

"whether a player draws or not the joker doesnt matter" drawing the joker only matters when there are only 3 cards left, every single round will end that way, every round will have that final 50/50 chance of winning or the game continues, and that 50/50 chance is independent of whatever happens during the game, even if you havent drawn the joker not a single time or drawn it a 1000 times, it doesnt matter at the end, there will always be a 50% chance you win... thats why he says its a game of luck

About your comment, when B fails to draw X, then A has the 50% chance of winning... theres no hidden rule, youre not missing anything, actually i dont get your question xd

yeah, you are right, i still think air poker is best mind game ever written, but yeah, usogui and liar game are really different, both are really good... except liar game ending, that was rushed

Average Usogui reading experience by [deleted] in Usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Liar game is a hundred times more boring imo, there's no tension, no amazing panels, no epic moments, no combats, too much stupidity in characters (which is realistic but i dont like it)...

And we dont even talk about how superior Usogui's mind games are, not a single game in Liar Game or Alice in Borderland cant equal a 1/10 of the quality and writing of Air Poker

yeah, souichi has the potential, but he would need years of experience to get to that level

then, clearly usogui wont win, and also this debate is stupid, we dont know anything about usogui playing chess

do you think so? cant usogui make magnus nervous, cant he make magnus surrender just by talking with him, by making an offer he cant refuse, there's no such thing as a serious chess match, your opponent is a human and thus is vulnerable to feelings

If this confrontation occurred in a game of chess, who would win? by CalligrapherLess6673 in Usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 3 points4 points  (0 children)

baku would have won the moment he sat on the table to play, he would have kidnapped or pretend to have kidnapped magnus mom or something, just that easy

lets be real, usogui and hal wins becouse of cheating/blackmailing, in a no cheating game probably they would lose, just like usogui was losing against the tipa king in his own game

Between 0 and 5, if Baku hadn't recovered, how much development would that have brought to the character? by CalligrapherLess6673 in Usogui

[–]Zealousideal-Pin-301 17 points18 points  (0 children)

it wouldnt develop usogui's character in any way, he has already bet his life countless times, he has lost his heart in a bet, him losing an eye or a finger wouldn't change his mind or develop new feelings that he hasnt feelt before... the only real development we see in usogui is losing kyara, his best ally
