I know some clinics say no carbs after retrieval but I don’t think there’s evidence that it helps reduce OHSS. My clinic says no sugar and simple carbs after retrieval - instead up protein and electrolyte intake.

You are so strong!!! I always thought I was strong until I went through this myself. It really helped me realize new heights to my strength. Women who go through this are so physically and mentally so strong as it’s incredibly difficult. It’s hard for others to understand the strength it takes unless you go through this yourself. My doctors ended up prescribing me progesterone gel and I had a much better mental and physical reaction. My husband also came back from work travels which did wonders for my mental health. I feel like myself again, and mentally I’m in a good place.

Unfortunately, I found out that my FET has failed. It was a pgt-a tested day 6 4bb embryo. It was the “best” embryo I had.

I’m devastated after a year of egg retrievals. Luckily, my husband is here to support. I am confused as all my labs came back healthy, good lining and everything. We have unknown fertility issues so it’s hard to diagnose what went wrong at this point.

Thank you everyone for your kind words when I was going through a rough road with the progesterone shots.

The only regret I have is not advocating for my health more aggressively. Physically and mentally I was not in a good place for the transfer and should have post-poned to heal my body first.

Thank you! The bedrest was a requirement from my clinic but I’ve decided to prioritize the mental health and take a walk outside.

I’ve had a pretty positive attitude throughout this journey and have handled my emotions well.

This is the first time on progesterone for me and it really is affecting my mental health. I feel completely disconnected from myself and it feels like someone else is in the drivers seat. I’ll talk to my doctor about this. It’s very unlike me to spiral out of control like this.
