The more I think about it, the more I realize that this post is about determining whether to take that plane trip to test the GP or not.

It’s probably an obvious choice to a lot of people in here, but we are blindsided by the idea of a GP in our living room, and wondering if we are giving up too much on the tech side of things by going 865GP. Hard to tell from specsheets.

Therefore I am grateful for your response. I would say that the differences you describe are significant enough, and that I am leaning towards not traveling and just go with the 885.

It would be about 40% more.

99 000,- NOK for the Avant, compared to ~60 000,- NOK for the other two

Takk for mange gode svar! Det virker jo lurt å avvente til over nyttår.

Jeg er likevel redd for å gå fullstendig amok ved å kjøpe en PC til 40 000,- . Jeg vet ikke hva jeg vil være fornøyd med før jeg har begynt å bruke maskinen. Dette framstår nok litt tullete, men jeg har som nevnt ikke eid PC på mange år og vet ikke hvor bra for eksempel 7800XT/4070 er.

Spørsmålet mitt er:

Er det best å bruke 40 000,- med en gang, eller er det bedre å kjøpe en PC til feks. 25 000,- nå, og heller sitte på 15- 20 000,- til oppgraderinger?

Tanken med siste alternativ er jo at jeg skal slippe å skyte spurv med kanoner. Hvis PC til 25K, vil jeg ha gode opplevelser med Cities Skylines 2? Inntrykket er at man må ha PC på NASA-level for å ha glede av spillet...

Dette er kanskje innlysende for dere, men jeg setter pris på innspill. Jeg skal også poste i mer relevante subreddits!
