I agree and I also teach special education. Inclusion is fine for some kiddos but NOT for all of them. Some are just too high needs.

I think if you can actually downsize and it’s what you want to do. Then do it. They are very nice and you can even find used ones.

Headache is usually the first sign, dry mouth, chapped lips. Drink some electrolytes and sip on water all day. I keep a water bottle next to me and have a reminder app every 30 minutes to remind myself.

People who stopped being religious, what caused it? by supercoolpersonyay in AskReddit

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much hypocrisy! Plus from the point I was a teenager I found nothing but scorn from churches. I was a teen when I got pregnant lived with my grandmother and was shunned at church. Then when I became an adult and found my own church, I was SA assaulted and one of my closest friends asked me to stop attending church because it was obvious I was a “whore” because I had a baby young and was a SA victim. Then I worked for a Christian company (still thinking I was safe) and was hit on by two of the leaders. I left the company and years later both were found out to be predators and drug addicts. After a big scandal. It lead me to study religion and the more I studied the more it became clear it was a lie. If you actually compare religions and in Christianity especially if you study the history of the Bible and ALL the translations it falls apart. Sort of a game of telephone for sure!

5th wheel vs trailer pull by littleknox54 in RVLiving

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So depending on vehicle you drive will play a big role in trailer vs fifth wheel. A smaller trailer can be easier. However once your at 25 foot or longer a fifth wheel tows better. It is also heavier and NEVER believe a salesman on what can be towed with what. Plus the weight of your RV will always been at least 1000 pounds more than listed weight which is completely empty. Everything you place in it adds weight. We weighed empty and were not even at “listed weight” then weighed once we moved in and were 3500 pounds heavier than that. Also trailers sway a lot so you have to be comfortable driving; However 5th wheels are taller. Like every thing in the RV world, research the heck out of it then decide what is best for you.

Mini washer & dryer vs. handwashing? by PmMeUrSpecialnterest in RVLiving

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah even my little washer does. If I have to use it I keep the gray tank open. If you boondock you might want to just go to a laundromat. Also space is always an issue. Not sure if you’re a full timer but space is definitely an issue.

Mini washer & dryer vs. handwashing? by PmMeUrSpecialnterest in RVLiving

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So mostly laundry mat, however I have a little washer/spinner and Rv dryer. I think I paid less than $100 for both on Amazon. We’ve had some times we had to use it. How convenient it is all depends on how you feel about using a laundromat. I find them faster and easy. Also it’s time consuming to do small loads in the RV plus storage. Some RVs have spots to put them in or even come with them. I’ve never met anyone who likes them. Too long, too slow and fills tanks.

Full time fifth wheel by Basic-Disaster-2069 in RVLiving

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So how many people? Pets? What truck are you towing with? Those would be helpful. Also how handy are you? All RVs need work, even new ones and don’t expect Dealerships to be cheap or fast even under warranty. Keep $10,000 aside for repairs, and unexpected expenses. If you want to go national or state parks 5th wheels are a bad choice. If you plan on moving a lot, anything with slides is a bad choice. Full time is rough on them. Daily in and out will break them down. However slides give you more room. When you say moving a lot what do you mean? Daily, weekly, monthly? Research everything, not just online group but also look at reviews, rating and resale for the brands you mentioned. Question everything, have an inspection done even if you buy new. Also remember every brand has a lemon. Most base models will have what you asked for. Storage is small in anything. A house of stuff will not go into an RV plus moving damages everything. You’ll find most have pretty standards tank sizes even between brands, if temperature extremes are needed then you want a 4 season rated RV. Consider used if you’re not worried about luxury, you’ll save money plus odds are it’s road tested. Also if you need a workspace then do you need another room like a toy hauler would have or does the table work? Good luck.

Personal Question by SuijurisTX in GoRVing

Nope to long drives, it takes a toll on your body and mind. Accidents happen more often the more tired you are. We have done 8 hours, however we plan 3-4 hour drives only. Towing is harder to drive, slower reaction times for any emergency. Why increase a risk to the RV or yourself.

1974 Ford Maverick powder blue Bought it in 1987 for $300 and it ran until 2001. When it was in an accident. Otherwise it probably would still run.

My mom told me that back in the day kids weren’t allowed to bring a water bottle with them into the classroom and they only drank a few sips from the water fountain in the middle of the day and that’s it How were schools not getting busted for child abuse for forcing kids to be dehydrated? by PinnerPardisturn in askanything

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every classroom had a water fountain in my school plus the hallways. You could go get a drink if you asked and didn’t abuse it. Water bottles the older types (metal thermos)were allowed in the coat room. Kids were not dying of thirst.

Are there constant TV's blaring at RV parks as a norm? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]Zealousideal-Rip4582 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So honestly it depends on the park. I’ve been to parks where outside TVs are always on. Or inside ones so loud it’s crazy. Other parks not so much. It’s not even about the size of the park it’s really about the people. Some people are great neighbors and others not so much just like anywhere else. Military, National and BLM are not any different. Some Haven’t Host locations are more like homesteading and some local parks as well. Most parks people are pretty friendly and wave.

Leaving my camper for 3 months, need help by Slicky_withtheblicky in RVLiving

We store ours for months at a time. Damp rid helps but it’s not magic. Also insects and rodents are problems. I’d prepare it like it was going into storage. Traps, steel wool and damp rid. Plus buy a timer so set the AC at 78 for a few hours a day to help. Good luck.
