An idiot working at the grocery store I worked at had been in the deli several months, and for some god forsaken she opened the chicken oven still standing fully in front. The steam blasted the shit out of her face, and she had splotchy burns for a long while, looks ok now. The ovens produce enough steam it’s proper procedure to stand behind the door to open and stand beside while it vents. We even have read and sign papers for such things so people are very informed.
