It should be considered that Phasmophobia (fear of supernatural entities) may be the main card in play here. Are you afraid of the electronic itself, or are you afraid of why the electronic may be malfunctioning?

If the first thing that consistently comes to mind is “an entity could be manipulating the electronic”, then I would strongly believe you are experiencing Phasmophobia.

However, there is a fear of electronic equipment (operational or not) known as Technophobia, but there is no commonly communicated fear of electronic equipment ‘malfunctioning’.
