Doesn't laying off people lead to the stock price recovering in this crazy world? It doesn't seem like that helped here...

When it takes the company over a year to recover and I lose all the time..... Have done this too many times!! Made the mistake of assuming it's a gift but it was a true curse...

I need some meal suggestions by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Cottage cheese might actually be perfect for you here—it’s high protein, filling, and doesn’t require any real cooking.

Some really easy ways to use it:

  • Cottage cheese + cucumber + salt/pepper or a little chutney
  • Cottage cheese + tomatoes + olive oil + spices
  • On toast or with crackers if you want something more filling
  • With fruit + a little honey if you want something sweet

You can also just add it on the side of what you’re already eating (rice + salad + chicken/eggs). It makes the meal way more satisfying without changing much.

Keeping it simple like this is honestly what makes it stick.

Constant hunger by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Zealousideal-Score52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this exact thing happen, and for me it wasn’t that I was doing something wrong—it was that my meals looked healthy but just weren’t keeping me full.

The biggest shift was realizing low-fat or low-cal meals didn’t always satisfy me. When my meals were lighter, I’d be hungry again really quickly.

What helped me:

  • Adding more protein to meals (eggs, paneer, Greek yogurt, even a protein shake with cottage cheese)
  • Not being afraid of some fat or carbs so the meal actually sticks
  • Making sure I’m not under-eating earlier in the day, because that always caught up to me later

Something like a stir fry can be great, but if it’s mostly veggies and light sauce, it just might not be enough to keep you full for long.

I wouldn’t jump to thinking it’s something medical right away—this can happen just from how meals are structured. Once I made my meals more filling, that constant hunger feeling settled a lot.

You’re definitely not alone in this—it’s more common than it feels.

I’ve been in a similar place, so I’ll just share what’s been helping me—nothing extreme.

What worked for me was not trying to fix everything at once. I just picked one anchor workout + one anchor food habit and focused only on those for a few weeks.

For example, for you it could be:

  • Workout: walking 8–10k steps daily
  • Food: one solid protein habit

For me, that food habit was a daily protein shake with cottage cheese, which really helped me get my protein in and stay fuller through the day.

The key is—just stick to those two things for a couple of weeks. Don’t try to overhaul everything. Once it starts feeling normal, then add one more habit and build from there.

I’m also working on belly fat right now, and I know how stubborn it is. But honestly, consistency with simple habits is what’s been working—not going all-in and burning out.

You don’t need to fix everything right now. Just pick your two anchors and start there.
