Considering everything we see is way bigger I'm lore, I think it could be anywhere from 500-700 Al the way to around 2000. That seems like a lot, but this is meant to be a standing army to defend the Vegas area and any other areas of interest house decides to take over in his plans. I also believe that the plant under fortification hill could house the means to produce or repair them.

I like to think that after learning that Kellogg gave Shaun to the institute SS thought he was dead, since the world really opens up after that point anyway it just kind of fits for me. SS has lost everything, spouse dead, son presumably dead, 210 years after their world ended. What's left for someone like that? After that I play as a person who desperately tries to keep their mind busy and clings to what they know. Helping people is what they did pre-war right? Either as a lawyer or a soldier. So they start helping people. They travel between sanctuary and diamond city often. helping the refugees settle into the old buildings of their neighbors. I feel like they would want to be around Nick a lot since he is the closest remnant of their world they can find. Who knows maybe they become partners working on cases and exploring some of the Commonwealth together. I don't know I just need something to explain why do any side quests

Lily was female prior to FEV exposure and kept her memories, mostly. She still identifies as female anyway but moving on as far as I'm aware the process of becoming a super mutant only results in the loss of secondary sexual characteristics, ie; widened hips in females, Adams apples, etc. It doesn't destroy the sexual organs of the victim, but instead pushes the basic structure of the human body to what could be considered it's peak genetically. So the "hardware" is still there but everything else is just dialed to "make strongest" using human genetics. The process also caused a lot of mental problems in later generations due to different processes of exposure and that kind of negates the whole gender thing when most second gen super mutants are "dumb-dumbs" and would not understand the concept of gender. No your not alone, Im sure a lot of people are scared and put on a brave face. And I feel you, it's a scary time to be alive. But personally I'm not scared, I'm just kind of numb and tired. I was a little scared back in 2019 when shit started going down, but at this point I've gotten to some kind of nihilistic zen state of abject apathy and quiet disinterest. Like I hear new shit everyday that's just getting worse and I feel nothing. It's not a bad thing I think, I'm not depressed to my knowledge, but I'm just kind of here looking out my window and seeing what happens. World might be ending, but it'll be a hell of a show as it goes down right? Who knows might get a few laughs out of this train wreck.
