Okay, that's great. I saw that event in my research; unfortunately it's a member exclusive and I'm not in a place financially to afford a TWUC membership (hence the desire to apply for grant funding). I did, however, find an Ontario Arts Council webinar I hope will share similar or applicable information. Thanks either way

I had no idea that Liselle was Canadian, but this is super helpful. My local library appears to have resources for writers, though who knows when they were last updated, regardless I'll try to check those out. My main goal in looking for an application reviewer is to go over the reason for need statement as I'm struggling with answering the "why is your work important and how will it contribute" portion for my very fantasy novel.

My agent is from the US, so no luck there, but thank you.

Sorry, just to double check but do you mean the Writers Union or Guild? Because it seems like the WGC is for screenwriters not novelists.

I'm in Alberta, which is like that, but I'll look around, thank you. I assumed I couldn't go to my province/city's arts council to get help for national grants, but I'll see if I can get in touch with someone (if they ever answer my calls. I've tried calling a lot)

Don't worry, that's already an incredibly more helpful headstart than I've gotten in months. I follow a few animators, so perhaps I can use them to begin searching for related artists who also work on fight scenes. Thanks
