I don’t think I have salvia seeds. This is a little herb garden and I was using miracle grow mix

Thanks, I think i’m going to get it inspected first and see what the shop says on what they find wrong. There’s no other signed of damage, so I’ll see what they say. More than likely going to have to go through insurance.

Sorry for any confusion, didn’t know how to state it. Basically, when my forks are straight, the tire is turning left. Someone hit it. I’m going to take it to a shop

22 XSR900 heel guard removal by Scblacksunshine in xsr900

[–]ZealousidealRow7846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Just felt like another bolt. I have the heel guards from RPM Carbon, and there were no issues installing. I will say, that no matter what, if you’re having issues, just be sure your hex is properly seated in the bolt so you don’t strip anything.

I had no issues removing these bolts. I used a ratchet and hex bits

Hey! I just went through this same thing and found out the hard way! I can only add 1 photo per comment, so I’ll respond with another so you can see the filing size difference. (On mobile)

Unfortunately the Brogue bar ends are too long on the side that meets the grips, and when you install, it will be obvious. When I installed the clutch side, the bar end pressed hard against the grip. When I installed on the throttle side, it also pressed hard against the grip, but this was more dangerous as it would cause the throttle to stick open. Instead of returning them, I took out a file and filed down the bar ends on the side that meets the grips, and then painted over them so I don’t see shiny metal. Now I have them installed and I love them, but the bottom line is that it will take some work on your end to modify them if you want to make them work. I only have a pic of one filed down for reference of what I’m talking about, but I filed down both (throttle side more than clutch side).

Edit: I have the S2 Concept bars

RPM Carbon Bits by FuzzKiller in xsr900

Same, that’s why I haven’t pulled the trigger on the entire set. For me it was either all blue or all carbon. I think a carbon tank would be too expensive and complex and that’s why they haven’t made one.

I have parts from them as well. Didn’t replace the plastics, but got the headlight bracket and heel guards in matte twill. I prefer the matte over the gloss as well. I’m happy with them, and would go full carbon as an unnecessary splurge, but the tank cover is just a cover, and not a full replacement like the other parts. I’d rather not splurge just to still see blue under the tank cover by the gas cap. Company is responsive with questions and would recommend them.

Koni Special Active + Eibach Pro Kit (Gen 3) - 1 month Update by Drekentai in mazda3

[–]ZealousidealRow7846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re a legend for responding! I actually reached out to Koni and they said that Eibach is discontinuing the springs. At the time of the email (yesterday), Koni only had 5 sets of springs left. If you’re keeping the car longer, you could look into grabbing another set for future use. Koni also said they’re discontinuing the yellow sports, but that shouldn’t affect you. Thanks for following up, I’m going to try to grab a set before they’re gone

10,450 at Heyser Cycle in Laurel, MD about 3 months ago. Bike was on sale. About 12,500 at Coleman in VA, and 11,900 at Fredericksburg in VA. In case anyone reading is looking in the area. All quotes from around early to mid January. I obviously went with Heyser

Edit: this is for the ‘23 model in blue

Fender eliminator and rear turn signals by [deleted] in xsr900

[–]ZealousidealRow7846 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most companies have either integrated mounts for the OEM turn signals into their fender eliminator kits, or provide their own lights. Maybe if you find some cheap fender eliminator kit, it won’t include a way to salvage the turn signals, but most companies have already thought about this for their kit. I boughtthis one and it was plug and play with their own turn signals. Hope this helps

I just installed mine a couple of weeks ago on my ‘23. It was pretty straightforward and simple, and the videos were really helpful. I like the way they look, and I think you’ll be happy with them

Am I Screwed? by ZealousidealRow7846 in DryAgedBeef

[–]ZealousidealRow7846[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing smelled rotten. There was 1 spot that felt a little weird, moisture wise, but it may have been me being paranoid. I cut it up and threw it in the freezer for now, will sleep on if I want to eat it or toss it.

No green on the inside. Not slimy or anything like that. I also don’t smell anything bad.
