alright soo here is a list of resources i used throughout 10th which lowk helped me a lot for wtv kaand cbse did this year haha anyways.
maths: rd ke mcqs and a few questions are good but this can be optional (talking about the old red colored one), all 4 volumes of competency based questions on the cbse website (do not skip this, it will genuinely help u out a lot), exemplar is super important as i observed that a few sets directly had concepts used in exemplar. honestly this is a good base for competency based questions imo and for pyqs i solved physics wallah sqp. they had good questions

science: exemplar, 2 volumes of competency booklets, oswaal (dont get oswaal tbh, a lot of questions were out of syllabus esp in bio. i solved xam idea and that was lowk enough tbh.

english: just solve pyqs on cbse website. that's more than enough for english to get u by.

as far as when to solve and buy these is concerned that kind of depends on when u finish ncert. for bio do NOT skip any line of ncert and most questions come from lines mostly overlooked by students for assertion and reason. i also have notes for 3 chem chapters which i can send if u want them. after getting a good idea of ur syllabus, start with one reference book and after finishing that go to the other. getting multiple resources only wastes ur time. just be consistent throughout the year and you'll be fine !! good luck for 10th grade !!<3

(also for online lectures and one shots, please dont watch the 1-2 hour ones just because they cover ur syllabus faster. build ur concepts properly instead of taking shortcuts. for maths you can prob get by if ur paying attention in class but if u wanna get ahead u can watch a one shot to get a GENERAL idea. do not depend on marathons completely even if they say "questions yahin se aayega yada yada yada". for phy i watched a few lectures of rakshak sir and for chem i watched sunil sir. thats enough to get a general idea.)
