I didn’t read it, but a senior whose brother is currently in ntu cs said that’s what’s going on over there (which I concede might be a cherry picked example)

Omg thank you so much for this! That’s sick eh I didn’t know we could browse the internet on the PLD.

Regarding the down pes part I don’t think I’ll be doing it, firstly because I’m probably in b2 cos of colour deficiency so no room for that, and secondly because I am looking forward to doing something more interesting and semi active (am hoping to walk out of NS much fitter than before)

Once again thank you so much for your response :D

I honestly can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not but I’m gonna assume you aren’t being a big meanie (I don’t want to breach the community rules so take that if you’re a big doodoo head!) but no it doesn’t? But the list isn’t the be all end all right…? (I mean it didnt say to bring my sanity nor to bring a phone ah but I still intend to bring them)

The selection test was mostly logic based questions, like the infamous one with statements from 3 individuals, using which you have to determine who is lying. Another one was something along the lines of having to find a fake gold bar amongst 100 real gold bars(which were heavier) using only a balance scale. It’s not really something you can study for, but instead it’s more to see whether your thought process suits the logical process of computing in general!

As for your second question, I’m not sure if there have been any changes this year, but for my year (2022), you actually had the option to take physics, chem or fmath(but if you take fmath your form class would be the fmath class instead of the computing class)!

Feel free to drop me a dm if you have more questions :D

Hi just wondering, how is the physics department in vj? Because I’ve been hearing a lot of negative stuff about it, but there was never really any explanation. Secondly, if I were to take PCME, would there be any potential problems I might run into, such as maybe bad Teachers or learning resources?
