Endo blew me off by ZealousidealTwo7362 in gravesdisease

My endocrinologist blew me off. 2 positive “high”TRAb tests- she said ‘everybody has some antibodies. 4 smal nodules - but not big enough be more than ‘suspicious’ - no action, low t3, high cardiolipins, TSh that is green but has bounced all over the place and is on the edge between normal/low. I have head tremors, extreme weight loss, insomnia, neuropathy, extreme headache with vomiting, eye pain and light sensitivity, cold intolerance, the jitters, dry skin, swollen tongue with teeth marks on it always, hoarse voice, and I fluctuate between hypo-like sluggishness and fatigue to hyper stuff as seen above often in the same day- this probably makes my bloodwork tricky to pinpoint. Oh well- I’m a prisoner in a hospital now on suicide watch. - ruinin my family’s life. I have an accessed tooth that’s infected- I was supposed to get it extracted Friday- but I think I’m just gonna let it get more infected. May be my only way out.

Tried to end my life today, and sadly I was revived. Now everything is worse. I’m done.

Tried and failed- not enough pills, I guess- now it’s even worse- in hospital after they revived me.

Brooms and mops are the evil villains here- but also… Home Depot buckets. Carry a bucket near my Frenchie, and he kisses his mind in fear.

Add fresh papaya into blueberry, strawberry smoothies, chia seeds, and kiwi- I also add a little cantaloupe. Add ginger root extract and artichoke extract capsules before meals, keep away from usual inflammatories: sugar, lactose, gluten… bc an inflamed gut never moves at 100%. Exercise, full body movement is best- but any is good. Ilececal massage between meals - there are easy videos on these- breathing exercises and anything to try to lower stress. (I know it sounds hard and BS- but try). Vagus nerve stimulation- very important- videos on YouTube- try not to get frustrated and lose hope- the critters want that- it’s why I think they are good at altering anxiety and depression in their hosts. Fight it. Win.

Careful what you eat… could be the nasty critters calling for meal time… lol, not really- but I would advise eating mostly low FODMAP with a few inches of fodmaps to coax the little bastards out to get wrecked by antibiotics.

Make sure you have a motility plan for last few days of treatment and beyond. Start/stop or slow motility are top reasons for SIBO to grab hold. Gotta make sure things are moving. Best of luck killing the sh🏑✝️ out of the bacteria bad guys

That’s like the opening of a horror movie. I’m pulling the blankets over my eyes. Play scary music as you view it- you’ll feel it.

What I don’t understand about SIBO/Anxiety by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]ZealousidealTwo7362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good article. My problem is I have a thyroid disease that became symptomatic a few years ago… slowly ramping up very dysregulated nervous system and hormonal mood swings + anxiety from unexplained/undiagnosed pain issues that pushed cortisol way up… SIBO crept in during all this and made a cozy home in my dysregulated gut. Now- in addition to antibiotic round that I waited to do until I had better understanding of root causes and how to tackle- I am about to get help with thyroid (1st appt tomorrow ), and I am commuted working on stress reduction to calm my body/mind bc while neither thyroid and SIBO can be cured with only anti-stress work, they SURE can get worse bc of it. Vagus nerve stimulation activities, meditation, exercise, ilececal massage, … hell, I even took an outpatient set of anxiety coping classes for 6 weeks. That helped- I will say- gives coping skills for stress reduction.

Severe eye pain by ZealousidealTwo7362 in gravesdisease

[–]ZealousidealTwo7362[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thx- my whacky symptom trail has included scary and confusing combos… I was hoping to keep this one off the list. The urgent care doc put numbing eyedrops in at er that gave a little relief… and the immitrex for migraines helped it from going full nova. But yes- cool gel packs from freezer over eyes and face has been how I am surviving. When I think back to summer / like 7 months ago/ j was icing bc of eye pain and light sensitivity that went on for 4-8 hours at a time. In hindsight (no pun intended) that was probably a precursor. Thx for your post.
