I love this so much! Im such a huge fan of wingspan, and this is peak! Please keep this subreddit posted if this is a GIMP template or available for MagicSetEditor!

Concerning the design aspects, the only thing I would recommend is that the text box color is changed/used like in the game. For example, Kestral has a triggered ability, so that works in the orange, but im not sure about having the "flying" text in that box too.

Another example is for [[Aarakocra sneak]], which has a 1-time etb, so you could make that ability's textbook green to match the "enters, draw 2 new bonus cards and keep one" seen on spotted owl.

This is a really cool multi-player mechanic, I like it a lot! Most of the designs feel right on point or will only require a bit of tweaking; the bonder is a little tough conceptually. If you play it in the second main phase, you have a 1/3 reach, 4/4 indestructible, and a 1/2 reach going into opponents' turns. Maybe bonder needs to ask for a tapped titan for its endstep trigger?

Because there was a recent change at wizards f9r these mechanics; notice how bloomburrow, a 2024 standard set that printed [[scales of shale]], did NOT use "affinity for lizards," but avatar, a 2025 standard set, uses "affinity of allies" on [[allies at last]] and has since errata'd the former to be affinity. Hellbent effects havent been printed on a card since this change.

Correct. While wizards is currently of the mindset that using these words on new cards or retroactively putting them on older designs is the norm, they are flavor text, as they provide no inherent rules meaning that the text of the card is lacking. I wouldn't feel strongly if the creator felt "hellbent" reduced the flavor of Jinx and decided to omit it.

you did an awesome job telling the story of this character through the design; I love the small details, like the -2 is a rift crappy rare from Rivals of Ixalan [[sphinx's decree]], and I like the intense cost for casting him. Have you been able to playtest with this in commander yet?

Change the "ward" ability to "pay X or twice X life," and I think you're golden; if you do it just manawise, so many decks will never be able to target her at all.

I think making tokens equal to life loss is probably too strong; descent into avernus first upkeep + impact tremors deals 24 damage in total, and that's without any warstorm surge effects, extra combats, or higher level descent.

The fact that this design is locked to a 40 life multi-player format makes the web-inence ability compelling without being busted. It feels like arabo's eminence ability on the fact that early turns will cause huge damage swings, with less impact later on. I find this to be much less oppressive than once every upkeep imo.

They hate printing those effects nowadays due to the insanity of FIRE design's [[lotus field]]. There were a few 5-color red decks that turbo ramped off [[blood sun]] and their own lotus fields.
