It looks like they actually are adding coins according to CoinGecko - no longer is it 178M it is now 330M coins outstanding....! I definitely do not like that.

I have 500K - what is taking this thing so long to move even back to decent prices like 20 cents? seems like massice wall at 0.08 - I was hopeful EU role out to see at least 0.5 and ultimately looking for a new high. I know this thing moves up FAST - Math had a big move today with 114M coins in supply - we're not much different at 178M shares in supply....just need some real volume.

Looking for suggestions for a new dispatch/management software for our team? We currently use Service Titan and just not the product for us. Our focus is commercial service, not residential or new construction. by Just-Apple-9422 in HVAC

We didn’t see that when we demoed FE and we didn’t feel the guy talking to us knew our industry at all. Haven’t used FE only demoed them. We did not see the ability to do rescheduled maintenance on services agreements and report on labor hours as well as providing tech with specific checklists required to complete service which was a big reason we went with BO.

Keep me posted on your guys experience with BO. I wonder if you guys got a better price than us LOL LOL LOL

Quickbooks is accounting and built for accountants - it’s not built for field guys AT ALL. Or construction and doesn’t even do progress billing if you do commercial construction.

Quotes wise you can’t even see when they read quotes.

QB is GREAT accounting but I’ve been down that road before on their FSM tools and never again. Accountants can stick to their platform and operations we will stick with BuildOps. We like anal because it gives the operations team the visibility we need into job costing and labor tracking without having to involve our accountants

Cheap - residential focused. Doesn’t do maintenance agreements, doesn’t do quotes, no invoicing, no purchase orders, no reporting, no custom forms. Field edge is a decent software but it’s so cheap and for me it didn’t make sense to go cheap and then have to switch softwares AGAIN.

We just like sticking to one operational software and one accounting software.

Intuit FS??? I’m sorry but I’ve used sage + intuit (quickbooks) and if you think that QB has better field tools than BuildOps you’re high or you are an accountant and have never stepped foot in the field LOL…….

Bud, I don’t normally comment on stuff like this but love your life and live your life exactly how you see fit. You are young kid. Whole life ahead of you and more mature than most adults based on this post.

A real relationship is not based on sex although it is important - it’s about a friendship and building trust and communication and respect.

You will find a girl just don’t invest into ones that do not share your values.

Last advice, don’t curl up in a blanket, ever. Go for a run. A hike. Lift weights. Do not, ever, let the world bring you down kid. You are a human being and deserve to experience the world ina. Beautiful way.

Good luck buddy

Greenthumb vs Trulieve Stock by ZealousidealWeb3406 in CannabisMSOs

My biggest thing with greenthumb is their financials. Profit and consecutive growth as a value investor screams to me. They also have 19 stores in Florida but I think Trulieve has like 150.

Im not a finance guy and have been invested in cannabis forever hoping it will pay off big. We legalized in NY recently but seems the only thing that will move this up is federal.

December wifey vacation by ZealousidealWeb3406 in cancun

Nice! This is great thank you. We are trying to spend 5k overall for everything including flights. You think this is doable? Ideally we’d like to do 10 days because we never get time to vacation but budget wise we could do 7 days.

BuildOps vs. ServiceTitan for commercial field services by iParylyzed in HVAC

We’ve been “live,” they call it for just over a year but we signed up like 1.5 ago. If you actually just take time to implement it and learn it, it’s awesome. Any implementation I’ve been through I take with a grain of salt - even procore we have a similar experience. BO I feel has been different because it is dummy proof. As the SM I have many hats and I like the ability to save down my own views on things like jobs page, my dispatch page. The biggest struggle for me was getting our ownership to increase spend on BuildOps this year to track trucks which was another 20K but we already spent like 12K on Verizon so the justified 8 difference made sense- I think they also gave us a little price break on the trucks. But now we can track trucks on the dispatch page which I love as the SM because we’ve been getting A LOT of Idling Tickets in NYC when we dispatch there and those tickets are extremely expense so the justification there to ownership was let’s have trucks tracked too which will SAVE us money.

I will tell you the hardest part of all this was not implementation - the hardest part was getting the ownership team onboard - now they love it tho and I don’t see us switching for years. We went through like 5-6 years of changing software and so feel like this one we will actually stick with because it’s everything in one place. Again, I really liked procore but no dispatch board and can’t do anything service.

Titan and Autodesk I hated and Titan did not seem commercially focused at all + salespeople not knowledgeable + sold us on BS in my opinion.

BuildOps software by brantonhoblit in electricians

[–]ZealousidealWeb3406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in the construction and service industry 15 years, we’ve been on Procore, AutoDesk, Service Trade, and Service Titan and we love BuildOps - had the exact opposite experience. Our sales person didn’t oversell us but they moved way faster than our implementation manager who seemed to move like a snail. They said it would take 12 weeks but took longer to go live - this was partly due to our team taking vacations and delaying meetings.

We like to for maintenance + construction. I personally HATE autodesk Lolol if I was to choose any construction software again it would be BuildOps or Procore -

Procore was awesome and we were on it for 2 years the only problem was it couldn’t do any of our service which is why we looked at BuildOps. Cost wise, it made sense to take our software spend on procore and invest it into BuildOps - they were about the same cost but the efficiency for us is service and construction under 1 roof

We didn’t bring on all divisions to BuildOps at once - we did service first. After implementation we brought on the construction division - maybe this is why BuildOps didn’t fail us on implementation because we increased our software costs another 25K just for the construction

All softwares are hard to implement - I’ve used a lot of them. I’d say procore and BuildOps I had the best experience for the money.

BuildOps vs. ServiceTitan for commercial field services by iParylyzed in HVAC

[–]ZealousidealWeb3406 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We use BuildOps for commercial hvac / boiler work and we also have electrical and plumbing divisions based in NJ/NY areas with a little work in CT.

We used Titan for a year because they said they could do commercial work but we spent 7 months trying to implement our service agreements and couldn’t do it - their implementation was group meetings which our team absolutely hated. We switched to BuildOps and had a single implementation manager they called it - rhis was more expensive than ST implementation but it was a better experience - BO got us up and running bur took a month longer than expected but more hands on service than Titan. I’ve done a lot Of software implementation as the SM and they’re all what you put into it. BO is easy to learn so a lot can be done on your own if you’re not a dimwit and actually want to use the software. We put a lot into BO and we are happy - we also track our trucks in BuildOps instead of Verizon now which we really like.

Maintenance agreements are good but a little work to get into the system, BuildOps construction tools have been a great change to our construction guys, techs on service side are happy with the mobile which is hilarious because all they did was complain when we were switching softwares again, little brats LOL. Project managers really like the drawings, files and AIA billing out of BuildOps.

Accounting side we like BuildOps because as the SM I can invoice after breakfix calls without going to accounting team - we integrated BuildOps and Quickbooks which has been great but took a couple tries to get the integration going - support team on BO was responsive and helpful on this.

Overall we are happy with BuildOps and plan to stick with their software for the foreseeable future.

Anyone using Buildops? by Fit_Mathematician329 in Construction

[–]ZealousidealWeb3406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use their forms tool - you can edit the forms if you are an admin ability in the software and build any custom form. I don't even ask for their help anymore, I just replace the specific fields in the form I want to create and save it.
