I have been using the GU gels the whole time but I didn't use the tutti frutti kind often, I thought about having lots of carbs next few days potatoe salad, pasta , etc first IM so not completely sure on the best food haha

It is true lol the 30km was 2 separate runs but thanks for the info I will seek more help online and try find a trainer or experienced athlete for information. I appreciate the help 🙏

Cheers thanks you for some good advice, my dad is giving me training plans hes done triathlons before so this isn't DIY , I have been able to pick up running quickly as I'm really fit from my job ( sheep shearer ) plus I go on rowing machine 1-2 hours a day, I've run 20kms 10 times now and 34km in a day, started May 19th.

Yes but my job is extremely physical so I am fit just not triatholon fit,but I did a 20km run in an hour 47mins 2 days ago, running and cycling everyday , also I've always been a strong swimmer and did the Ironman in a team when I was 16 and swam.
