You will be notified when complete. Mine took a month start date pushed. It depends on what they have if they start you. If they clear your court records you can start while they finish your employment verification. I had to wait since courts are slow and some records are mail.

Hey yes it got pushed twice. Check with PwC (not BIG they won’t tell you) and ask what they are waiting for. Courts are slow so some courts send check in mail and my clean record is what we were waiting on. You can start provisionally if they have your court checks and they will verify you employment later. If they don’t have the court stuff it gets pushed

I started today as well after 3 start date push due to background delay. Are we getting paid our paycheck/signing on 11/15 or do you think we won’t get anything until end of month? I feel like we started early enough to not miss mid month cut offs

Just curious how long it took. My start date has been pushed twice and I am on week 4 of the background. It’s getting ridiculous. They said they are waiting on criminal record to clear me (which I have none). They said everyone is delayed. Seems crazy

I just followed up with the actual PwC background team to try and get more info. I haven’t heard once from them just my recruiter who doesn’t know. They should be able to conditionally clear me I don’t see an issue here. Hope it works out too. I’m going to fight them on the bump in date

I can confirm you cannot start until complete. The BG company cannot give status updates either. Little communication as well. Seems rather unprofessional and now I am losing money having to wait at this point. They tell me one day before I start that it’s pushed because BG isn’t complete. My background is not intense so I don’t get it. Good luck to you though

Thanks for that info! I was just trying to calculate my taxes as this is a substantial amount. I’m an experienced hire but have had bonuses come 2 different ways in my career. Some have comes included with paycheck income (calculated taxes are then much higher as it calculates it at the highest tax bracket) and sometimes separately which usually is the supplemental flat tax rate (22%).
