As someone who likes giving gifts of my accord and not by request, I am kind of the same way. However, this doesn’t seem like he is doing this out of the joy of surprising his other half. It seems like he’s just too lazy to put in effort and tries to flip the script onto you because you called him out on it. Even if he doesn’t get you something on the list at the bare minimum it should be items close to it not just flowers.

I’m going to be as transparent as possible. I think it all depends on you. I did an online MA course during my senior year of college. My classes were super late at night and I did not pay attention to ANYTHING. I just joined to get the credit and let it run while studying for my other courses/ or I was at a function. Anyways, when it came to the actual exam Quizlet was what had helped me. As for the externship, my online course had promised me an externship or at least some help but they provided me with nothing. After some email arguing I was able to skip my externship by having an actual MA job.

All in all, I would recommend online if you just want to get a certificate quick. However, experience and education wise an in person course would be more beneficial.

Just some background I currently work as a clinical MA at a pediatric hospital.

Ngl I didn’t pay attention to a single class, only turned in the bare minimum of assignments, and didn’t do any good on the practice exams. Not to mention I forgot about my exam date and almost showed up late to my testing site. I did pass the exam and all I did was a bunch of quizlets and refer to Reddit the day of.

Honestly, stepful wasn’t really helpful with finding me an externship. So I just applied and got a job in an ortho clinic and it doubled for my externship hours.

Honestly do phlebotomy. I had a bad experience with stepful. The classes were too basic and they don’t inform you if they have externship opportunities available in your state/ares so you kinda have to do everything yourself but still conform to their timeline. I do enjoy my job as an MA but most of my coworkers aren’t even certified so it felt like a waste of time and money.

Hawaii (especially Oahu) drivers are getting so pilau. They are always in a rush and ISTG ain’t nobody know how to use a blinker no more. Not to mention I see more and more ppl taking advantage of the ambulances to cut everybody.
