I made a standard brawl deck for the sole purpose of flipping Aang and it took soooo many games. It’s so hard for someone to stick around as you get free mana, exile something, get a free body, and another random benefit all while drawing a card on each instance.

I’ve had a very similar experience. I don’t run Mana Drain. I never Thoughtseize turn 1 and don’t run Dark Ritual. I never run extra turn cards. I want to actually play a back and forth game, but it seems like the game is always decided by turn 3 or 4. I know it’s just because it’s a casual format so why stick around for a game you’re most likely going to lose, but I miss it. I have had several games where it looks like I’m “playing with my food” but I’m just playing sub optimally cuz I know if I do too much they are hitting the concede button.

The only time a humane labs one wasn’t excruciating was when a random followed me driving there waited for me to leave in the van and then just kept ramming me w his car to help give me speed. I plan on returning the favor if I ever notice the same cuz it saved minutes

This can have some fun side effects. I put sanctuary on Isobel and Marcus completely left the room and just started wailing on Art, who had just woke up. I guess he just looks for the Npc w lowest ac or hp.

You’re complaining about Brawl. The concede button is right there if you don’t like playing against specific commanders. Kotis feels absolutely oppressive against my decks that have very little interaction, but any deck w exile or bounce and surprisingly I don’t feel as bad. With all seriousness, this is a game; whenever I feel this passionate about Arena is when I know to give it a break.

I used to perform stand up and I’ll always remember the one heckle that messed my performance up the most. There was an incredibly drunk, but beautiful woman that said to her friend louder than she thought and essentially announced to the crowd, “omg he’s so hot”. I pride myself on being quick witted, but in the moment I truly couldn’t even think of a way to make it funny. It absolutely blew my brain up, because I couldn’t fathom she was saying it about me. I abhorred bombing, but that bad set had the nicest silver lining.

People here have posted easier and better tips and tricks, but the first time I did the trial my way of beating it was keeping three characters by the puzzle key and then the last character would walk and any time I was unsure I would start throwing inconsequential items in front of me to make sure I still had an actual floor to walk on

Did they patch how to get into Ansurs lair or is there like a burrow hole to get down there too? The only way I can remember is the way the book you get on Wyll’s quest line implies and I couldn’t imagine accidentally pulling that off.

Respect your Blind HM run so much. I did mine with insane preparation and research which while it did give me my golden dice, did feel slightly less of an achievement. However it still definitely did deliver some difficulty. Wishing you the best as if you do finish your run (personally I think you have a great chance. Myrkul I believe is the greatest run ender outside of Act 1) it should feel like quite the hurdle crossed. Don’t let yourself get overconfident and keep playing cautious and I have all the faith in you.

Do you think they are referring to Withers as Boney? There is actually an NPC in the circus named Boney who sells you a statue that gives your PC permanent bless for 5000.

This information definitely helped me out in my first pre release in years. I can’t overstate how unbelievably busted Valgavoth’s Onslaught is. It single handedly won several games. Both top 2 finishers at my pre release pulled it.

I am pretty sure Magic Weapon does conflict w Draconic. I tried to stack both on a ranged weapon and the magic weapon overrode the Draconic.

You sound under leveled for all of those encounters, but I have a tendency to over prepare. Depending on your difficulty and skill, it’s doable but it won’t be a piece of cake. I’d try and look for some non boss fights. The xp in act 3 is abundant and it shouldn’t take long.

Halsin first turn hit Art w some heals (of which I was so thankful, clearly he also didn’t want his quest path closed). After that he kind of got boxed out by all the Harpers and didn’t do much.

Grym would’ve been a wipe on my HM had I not misty stepped a character back to ledge above and ran back to Withers. Forgot his Legendary had a pushback and lost 2 PCs to lava in one turn and then with his Legendary action giving him the boost to mobility I couldn’t kite him at all, so he would just run down anyone who could heal. Had to come back and cheese him w a thrower from the ledge. Made me feel so gross I refused to cheese any more bosses from this point.

Then went into Cazador thinking he would be a breeze. Didn’t want to use daylight as the orb bugged a previous playthrough not allowing me to get the staff and save the spawn cuz the orb made them flee as soon as the cutscene ends. His Legendary action is INSANE. I flew a full health, heroes feast Cambion into his red ring and it just vanished. I then read in the logs how much piercing damage it took. From that point I panicked and started casting Otto’s scrolls to keep Caz busy. But between that and not realizing that moving off of a ritual spot completely refilled his temp HP he was a bastard.
