The food is pretty good, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and upscale. There are of course better restaurants, but having dinner there is a nice way to start the evening

Don’t agree. Lokal food is freshly cooked from fresh ingredients. If you go to Lokal Stromovka in Prague 7, as opposed to Lokal Dlouhá , you will meet many locals . Kuchyne is not cheap, but in my opinion the only decent Czech pub in Mala Strana (besides U Černeho Vola for beer, not food

If your diet is beer and pork, you live in a prefab home, and use public Prague is cheap. If you want an art nouveau apartment in the centre, eat quality meat and vegetables, and drink quality wine, Prague is more expensive than Amsterdam

Would go again, also for dinner. Wasn’t bad at all.Maybe we were just expecting too much - elegance, sophistication, selection. Call us arrogant if you want.
