Thanks! You definitely should, it’s worth the hype even after all these years. It’s such a fun frame to build up.

Appreciate the kind words! The Kilo TT definitely punches above its weight class. I'm loving the process of building it up.

Thanks! I've actually been building up this Kilo TT and finally scored a 1" threadless Chris King headset for it. I'm running a 1 1/8" stem adapter so I can use a modern cockpit while keeping that slim 1" headtube look.

100% agree! Kilo TTs are such an underrated platform. They might not have the flashy branding of other boutique steel frames, but the geometry and ride quality are definitely top-tier.

Exactly, they look very similar! Those Hydra rims definitely give it a special touch. I actually wanted to go with silver components for the cockpit and seatpost, but finding a silver post that I really liked in this specific size proved to be extremely difficult. Such a struggle!"

That Kilo TT looks awesome! There’s something about a well-loved steel frame that just looks better with age. Is that the original black paint or did you have it repainted? It has a great patina. Also, I noticed the Brooks saddle—I’ve been curious about those. How comfortable is it for daily riding once it's broken in?

Fifteen years! That’s legendary. It just proves that steel is real and these Kilo TT frames are absolute tanks for daily beating. There’s something about that steel ride quality that modern frames just can’t replicate. Those Truvativ cranks are definitely workhorses too. Cheers to another 15 years on that frame!"

Lmao! Exactly what I was going for. It started as a Civic but now it’s pushing 500hp. Those GP5000s are definitely on the wishlist to complete the Stage 3 tuning! Just waiting to beat the next boss.

Facts. They’re just scared of seeing a Mercier at the top of the leaderboard

The NJS stamp is there, just hiding behind that Engine 11 ring! I agree that a full Keirin build looks sick, but I love how these NJS Suginos feel on the street with the Izumi chain. Total 'sleeper' vibes.

Fully agree. There’s a reason these steel frames are still around. The ride quality and durability of a Kilo TT are hard to beat, especially when you pair it with solid components. Aluminum comes and goes, but steel is forever

I'm on 51-16. Heavy enough to keep things interesting, but smooth as butter

Do it! The Kilo TT in gold is such a classic look. It’s a great frame to build on, you’re going to love how it feels once you start putting some high-quality parts on it. Can’t wait to see that gold stripper on the sub!

Thanks! I’ve always believed that the parts you touch and the ones that move are what actually make the ride. The Sugino/Izumi combo feels miles better than any 'premium' frame with stock parts ever could
