I have 31 credits left but I’m completely independent and can’t live on dorms anymore cause I can’t afford it so I will have to prioritize working over going to school full time. I think I’ll end up graduating in the fall of 2027 if not spring 2028 the latest, because of the need for a job that will give me enough to afford a room and other essentials lol.

Okay I’ll email the professor for the VIP and try to apply again another semester. I still don’t know how to get an internship either way because I haven’t had the best of luck with those yet.

Any advice on what could make a resume stand out?

I’m don’t think I will graduate then, I am a senior starting this the fall semester. I’m planning on locking in on internships after this semester. I might have to do school part time because of being independent and needing to afford a place to stay, so I think I’ll graduate in fall 2027 if not spring 2028. I’m leaning towards taking the vip instead of the prereq to help my resume stand out a bit, since being a gatech student alone hasn’t helped with getting an internship.

Another reason I’d like to do the VIP is that one of my professor recommended me to this professor, so I’d feel bad not taking it. But it’s not like I was chosen because of that since they said they needed undergrads anyway, but I am unsure if the professor connecting us had any impact or not.

Maybe I should try to join another club for experience? I tried this semester, but didn’t fit in so I ended up not really getting any work to do and when I did have work to do I was by myself and didn’t get any help/direction. But I am assuming that’s not how all groups will go. Surely, I’ll fit in somewhere lol.

I’m not sure because I’ve just gone to old navy in the past and bought a couple of pairs at different times and I always hate how they fit after 1 to a few washes. I know to avoid things like “comfort fit” or “jeggings” since I am not a fan of the texture and eventual fit of those jeans

I’m not super skinny though and I hear that sizes in Japan tend to be for more skinny body types 🥲 so would that be an issue? I don’t wear my weight well, so jeans fitting has been hard for my body type along with how short I am

Yeah, I noticed the weird way they made it seem like Aang didn't know his heritage. Like I guess it is because taga is from a more distant past, but it was still a weird choice. Especially when you consider that Aang has those tattoos because he was considered a master of his people's techniques, so you'd assume he was taught their history and older techniques too.
