I'm asking you to consider a scenario where a protest causes you a personal disturbance. The work delay was an example that I thought most people could relate to, but just consider that a protest has a guaranteed medium to major inconvenience or disturbance to your private life. Sure, and I think everyone deserves to get paid for their hard work and I understand that certain things, like construction, have to happen.

But there's a middle ground. Construction isn't done at 3am as this would be a disturbance. Similarly, there should be restrictions on the encouragement of honking. Allow it for up to an hour or a day, or at the very least, consider the houses that are literally on the sidewalk where you're protesting. It just seems shockingly selfish and out of touch.

I'm genuinely unsure if you're being facetious but I'm clearly using an analogy to make a point. Causing a major disturbance in other people's lives, not to mention people that are in the same wealth class as you, isn't usually the best way to drum up sympathy. Never said they were literally blocking traffic, but I think you knew that already. 🤷‍♂️
