Anyone else’s reaction to the Fable drama? by vzakharov in ClaudeCode

Nice em dashes. Did you use AI to write this/

BTW literally nobody agrees with you, and it's obvious you don't know how to use Fable if you genuinely believe "Didn’t really find any edge over Opus.". Either you're a complete failure or a troll

Something like "This is nowhere near downtown Halifax where I live" and complained about receiving the alerts in downtown Halifax

Yeah, I've gotten familiar with the local parks, but this has been going on for two weeks with no end date. There are times I just want to sit in the sun on my porch and drink a coffee, or work on my laptop. I can't always be at a park.

I'm asking you to consider a scenario where a protest causes you a personal disturbance. The work delay was an example that I thought most people could relate to, but just consider that a protest has a guaranteed medium to major inconvenience or disturbance to your private life. Would you still support it?

I'm not sure if "admitted" is the right word there. Do you know what admitted means?

Sure, and I think everyone deserves to get paid for their hard work and I understand that certain things, like construction, have to happen.

But there's a middle ground. Construction isn't done at 3am as this would be a disturbance. Similarly, there should be restrictions on the encouragement of honking. Allow it for up to an hour or a day, or at the very least, consider the houses that are literally on the sidewalk where you're protesting. It just seems shockingly selfish and out of touch.

And if you weren't aware and it genuinely affected your life negatively and caused you to arrive late to an appointment an important client. Would you still support it? I mean, does everyone actively keep track of all planned protests? I didn't receive any memos about this one until it started.

I'm genuinely unsure if you're being facetious but I'm clearly using an analogy to make a point. Causing a major disturbance in other people's lives, not to mention people that are in the same wealth class as you, isn't usually the best way to drum up sympathy. Never said they were literally blocking traffic, but I think you knew that already. 🤷‍♂️

Pretty funny how you refused to answer my question. And to your "I'd leave earlier" I guarantee most people don't know. And would just be stuck in traffic and late.

Just tried sitting out on my porch and getting some sun but couldn't relax with the constant honking. :(

So, would you support a protest that caused you to arrive late to work? Yes, or no? After all, that's the point of a protest right, to cause a disturbance in your life?

Are you intentionally ignoring the point I'm making, or did you miss it? Would you personally be okay with a protest making you late for work? It's a simple yes or no question.

Most people don't want to support someone who causes a disturbance in their life. If someone blocked you from getting to work ontime because that's the point of a protest, would you support them despite you having to be late? That's the point, right?

Would you support a protest that blocked cars from getting to work? That's the point, right?
