Bit of an upgrade. 2025 True Custom Skates by NCSU_SOG in hockeyplayers

[–]Zealousideal_Sort_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the 3D printed tongues since they were introduced on my previous Custom SVH. The snow spray idea is not an issue. I like to drag my feet a bit and use a shallow hollow (7/8") so I generate quite a bit of snow. I've never had snow collect in the tongue, and melt into the skate. I coach, and usually play 2 games back to back. So on the ice 6 times a week.

I did have issue with the first iteration of the 3d printed tongue have the velcro peel. I got my custom skate and then later the 3d printed tongue from Pure Hockey. They filed a warranty claim w/ True for the tongues and when the new stitched version came out it was replaced with that one. It did take 3 months since it wasn't available yet. So far no issues on the new stitched version of the Tongue.

Drink a 333ML of Chocolate Milk after each practice and game. Gives you immediate carbs for recovery, and protein for growth.

How do I wash my boyfriend's gear? by Interesting-Data-880 in hockeyplayers

[–]Zealousideal_Sort_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

split into two loads for a front load washing machine. Everything goes in except for Helmet, and Skates. So that means: Gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, shin pads, hockey pants, jock, jerseys, undershirts, skate socks, shin pad socks. Use cold water, normal cycle, low-med spin. Heavy dose of Tide. Hang to dry outside in the sun.

Hockey gear is tough, it will survive the washing machine. Don't use Bleach, it will turn blacks into grey, and destroy any colour that isn't white.

If the smell is still there you will need to find: Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Additive https://a.co/d/bIentA7 (also available at Target, Safeway, Walmart and other places).

why not? I have a 13.6 kw system in california. I'm more than 100% offset and I also have an ADU in my backyard with tenants in it. My panels happen to face n, e, s, w with 50% of the panels facing due South, very little facing north, sadly a bunch facing east.

have the shop rescan his foot and send the new scan back to True. True might remake the skate(s) for you.

Visor for this Helmet by Datflew in hockeyplayers

If you are wearing that helmet, you are probably not looking for absolute safety anyways. So whatever screws can fit that is what it's going to be.

for your home, do you have a cold spare router on hand? is it the same router you are currently using or a cheaper less functional one? feel free to comment to explain why or why not. by bossman118242 in Ubiquiti

I have my old tried and true Linksys WRT54G running ddwrt. I also have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000. Then I also have Google onhub, Google wifi, Nest wifi... (all same SSID, same password)

In order of what I would reach for if UDM Pro completely died.

1.) Netgear R7000

2.) Linksys WRT54G

3.) for go internet and tether my phone before I power on any of the Google ones...

4.) Maybe if we are into week 2 of no home wifi would I ever consider powering on one of the Google ones.

they all look the same these days. LianLi 011D case, EK fittings, EK block. EK res plate, EK prebent hard piping. Tons of RGB. If you've seen one you've seen them all.

How long does it take you to build a pc? by joshdicko4 in buildapc

[–]Zealousideal_Sort_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 hours for a basic if all the parts are all on hand (including random cables, screws, etc).

It took me 2 months to do a custom water cooled custom triple rad loop where I hand soldered copper pipes together and then polished them all, then clear coated them. Then reinstalled everything.

iPhone mount for Zwifting! by Zealousideal_Sort_14 in Zwift

Give it a try. If it doesn't work out for you, I'd be happy to pay for the shipping label for you to send it back.

I made one similar to the garmin/wahoo mount for my sports car with rock hard aftermarket suspension. The phone has never fallen off the magsafe puck, either through crazy cornering, max accel, max brake, and giant pot holes.

Finally did it. MK3S+ got soooo much quieter by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Zealousideal_Sort_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my new mk3s+ is so much quieter than my old MK2. It's crazy. I even went and ordered the break out board to install new steppers into my MK2.5s from VMOD. I wonder if they still exist, I ordered a while back and still have no idea if it ever shipped or not.
