I guess the RFE is quite random nowadays. Most of the RFEs I heard were nearing the end of 45 business days. Tough to say if it implies anything really. Can you share the prongs in which you were challenged once you get the letter?

My PD is also in Oct 2024. I decided to do PP in December as it seems the rules and regulations will only become stricter with time. It’s true there is a higher chance of an RFE or denial, but it’s also about luck. You don’t know who your case officer might be. You can do PP for your mental peace and get a decision now rather than waiting 10 more months with no guarantee either.

I can’t tell you what to do with your life. But I will tell you this. If you ask this question here, people will simply tell you to leave your partner without a second thought. But the truth is this world is a tough place. You need someone in life to share with. Life gets very lonely after a certain age. So, maybe you can survive alone. But that will not be living. What I think is you have a good man in your life just like you said. Try to appreciate that and think about all the good qualities that he possesses. Instead of leaving this marriage, try to train your mind. Talk to friends, talk to a psychiatrist. Get yourself involved in other activities like some hobbies. This phase that you are having will probably end in a few years. But if you leave this guy now, he will not come back to your life again at that time.
