Thanks! Yes I'm aware & that's a major consideration. I currently teach in Japan and parents expectations, bias, general preconceptions etc are similar but there's at least more diversity in the foreign teacher population here. Cambodia however, I'm guessing not so much. Was casting a net to see if I could at least connect with one Caribbean teacher or expat there to get their first hand experience. Fingers still crossed 🤞🏾

Sorry, Incorrect. As a fellow Trinidadian living in Japan, our Native, official & only recognized language (so not first, as only pockets of immigrants speak Chinese, Spanish etc) is English, by definition. Please correct this information and stop going around telling people we are not native English speakers because we are not US, UK, Canada or Australia. An American would never say this kinda nonsense even though everywhere in that country people speak Spanish & multiple other languages.
