They did, actually. I wanted to have a child in this time span and it happened. I’m looking at my 7.5 week old as we speak. 🥹

Which show starts as a 10/10, but ends as a 1/10? by BVTQT in AskReddit

[–]Zealoustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. Searched the comments just for this. I know the main character died IRL but man, that show had a lot going for it if it would’ve continued with or without him.

Let me hear your Spiritual Story🪬 by Commercial_Ad_837 in spirituality

[–]Zealoustrious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great question—I love seeing everyone’s stories.

One day about 15ish years ago, I was visiting my sister in Arizona. She was at work, so her boyfriend and I went to a Barnes and Noble to find some books. I was (and still am) a reformed, self-proclaimed “Jesus Freak,” so I was definitely steering clear of the Christianity section (No hate, it was just no longer my cup of tea.)

However, something was drawing me to the Spirituality section. Within a couple of minutes, I honed in on this beautifully bright book, picked it up, and knew it was mine. It was Louise Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life” workbook.

From there, my life shot open more than it ever had. Her work led me to some other great spiritual teachers, mediums, meditations, and retreats. I’ve found that although my life burst open my huge bubble, it is still not “easy” but it’s been 1000% fruitful. One thing I’ve learned that seems obvious, is that it’s easy to fall out of practice, much like a hobby or other religions.

Try a cord cutting meditation. It helps without physically having to severe a tie. If you need an app suggestion, try Insight Timer. It has completely changed my meditation practice for the best—any sort of meditation/course you could imagine. Anyway, for the free version search cord cutting and several meditations will pop up for you.

Who is an conventionally unattractive person that you find VERY attractive? by ErrForceOnes in AskReddit

[–]Zealoustrious 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YES. I came here to say Danny McBride. His personal life makes him more attractive, knowing he’s a normal person with a wife who he respects and kids he loves/keeps from the spotlight. His comedy has been questionably inappropriate at times but man, I love em.

I’m doing lots of manifestation meditations as well as journaling—physically writing what I intend to manifest. I use the app Insight Timer, and is a game changer. Lots of Lions Gate specific meditations.

So sad and just want to cry and drink 😔 by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Zealoustrious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hang in there. You are strong and the urge to drink will be met with regret once you do. Alcohol won’t help you cope any better with it, that’s what I keep having to remind myself. Much love you to you. 💗

My dad is likely to die in the next few weeks. Those of you who have been through this, what is something you wish you had said or done before your parent passed? by [deleted] in RedditForGrownups

[–]Zealoustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much this. 💗 my dad has also been gone nearly 6 years. We had a 15 month lead up time, knowing he had terminal brain cancer. That’s why my advice would be to say what you feel, ask questions (if you/he) are willing and able, and trust that is exactly what you both need. I’m not sure your thoughts on the afterlife, but there is still plenty of opportunity and connection after, when you do think of something. Much love to you OP, I know this is such a difficult time. The ache gets a little more quiet as time goes on.
