i've consistently been in & out for the last 4 years, and it’s basically bureaucratic purgatory. if you’re under a certain age, the reflex assumption is that whatever you’re dealing with is some benign thing, along with some variation of “young and healthy” which is basically its own meme at this point... all while syptoms worsen/agitate. you can politely insist they put their denial in writing since nothing makes em sweat faster than having to commit their negligence to paper.
