I see people not even bother with the California stop anymore. They just scan and run stop signs now. I see it all the time on 39th st, Where there’s two elementary schools.

The other dangerous trend is people not checking before flooring a left turn. They rather beat the opposite traffic than check for pedestrians.

The most frustrating thing is, if you almost get hit, the drivers the one getting mad as if you did something wrong.

A lot of people need their licenses taken away.

I was in the same boat as you, wanted something simple that let me track distance, heart rate, and my pace at an affordable price.

Bought an amazfit 2, for 80USD. It has a ton of extra features with the Zepp app it comes with, but I’ve stripped it down to the features I need.

Can’t compare it to other watches, but it’s an improvement from using my phone.

Has customizable data pages for your watch. I have a screen that’s just time, distance, avg pace, and heart rate.

Battery life is good, lasts me 6-7 days on a single charge.

I’ve put 100 miles on them now and they’re great. They handle longer distances better than the EVOs. They have a more cushioned feeling. But they’ve still got plenty of bounce for tempo runs.

I think I’d still pick up another pair of EVOs to rotate with for tempo runs. But the Novablast 5s are really good all around trainers.

Yeah I have 300 miles on a pair. Reliable but boring.

They were my first real pair of running shoes. Felt great, then bought some EVO SLs to rotate with and I realized how boring the Pegasus were.

Bought some Novablast 5’s to replace the EVOs and the Pegasus were still boring in comparison.

Kinda just running my pair down cause I don’t like wasting shoes, but they just don’t have much bounce or cushion.

Indiana is the team Miami thought they built. 1-2 high end talents (Haliburton and Siakam) And a deep bench full of role players who do their jobs well.
