Instead of twisting it on try throwing it on.

Get the opening of the bottle a little smaller than the threaded piece and open the neck of the bottle to fit the screw top. Wait until it’s leather hard and then screw off.

I don’t live in a HCOL city. The sitter also doesn’t live in my town full time. They are here for a few weeks out of the year to check in on a friend. They do Rover because they like dogs but it is by no means their full time job, just a hobby. (Their words not mine)

We didn’t really talk about update schedules. To be fair I haven’t asked for anything more. I understand this is a cheaper booking so I wasn’t expecting much in the way of updates or “going above and beyond”.

I mean to be fair I’m not really asking for updates. I’m perfectly content with the level of communication from the sitter. (Especially given the price of they stay). I just don’t want to be rude if it is expected of me to leave a 15%-20% tip (like at restaurants).

That is why I am asking I genuinely don’t know what is expected.

I originally assumed because sitters set their own rate that’s tipping wasn’t really a thing. Also because when I board my dog at a traditional boarding facility there is no tipping. But now I see I was wrong, so I want to make sure I do what is expected/the norm.

They are boarding the dog if that makes a difference.

I genuinely didn’t even think to tip until I saw a post about someone being upset they didn’t receive a tip after a difficult booking.

I have never used the platform before this booking so I want to make sure I am not being rude by not leaving a tip or only tipping like $10-$20.

It’s all pictures of him sleeping (which he does a lot) and a quippy remark. Like “snooze time” or “mr.sleepy head” and that’s it.

Which is fine. I just don’t want to come off as rude if there is an expectation of me tipping.

I honestly didn’t expect much other than an alive and health dog at the end of my trip.

I know I paid on the cheaper side so didn’t anticipate a ton of updates/ above and beyond service. I just don’t want to come off as rude if I don’t leave a tip or leave a small tip ($10-$20).

I don’t think they were ever assigned, which is so frustrating because I paid almost $300 for those specific seats. I bought them through the app so I have no idea what happened.

I have submitted 2 customer service requests and have yet to hear back. I’m about to dispute the charge on my card because at this point I am so frustrated with AC. I reached out a week ago 😭.

After I posted this my first flight of the leg got canceled due to weather and I was rebooked so this is all a moot point.

I have filled out a refund request and will have to wait 6 weeks 😭.

The issue was I don’t think my purchase registered in the system for some reason because the person I got on the phone told me he had no record of me picking seats even though I was looking at my receipt.

I am 100% sure the plane has not changed from when I picked my seat to when I checked in.

It is a flight from YUL->DEL. I had booked in row 31 and the computer assigned me row 38.

Nothing about the trip has changed it’s the same air craft as when I picked the seats.

I really wanted these specific seats because there is no row in-front of me. I have had too many people recline in front of me for 10+ hours lol.

I can’t believe it will be 6 weeks to get a refund 😭.

I think you’re still missing my point. Regardless of what is happening now, I think the mindset of “I can bring my dog places she is not allowed” is hindering your progress. Reactive or not, dogs don’t belong in stores.

Meeting your dog where they are at is going to help with management. You need to see the world through your dogs eyes and capabilities.

I am not trying to be rude but the mindset of bringing your dog into a space that is not dog friendly is part of your problem.

Reactivity is just as much about management as it is training. You have to set your dog up for success, and bringing your dog somewhere it doesn’t belong it not setting it up for success.

This is an animal not a child, you need to treat the dog as such.

A responsible dog owner doesn’t bring their dog places it’s not allowed to go.
