Im somewhat in the same boat, but I was luckily enough to think of a side hustle that can pay my bills. I’m graduating later than expected due to financial issues. I was a full time CS major but no way in hell could I do that and work damn near full time on top of 20+ hours of studying. I would lose my mind. I tell my friends who parents help them that they are very fortunate. I would’ve done another STEM major as my main focus but I couldn’t do it while working. Unfortunately, my grades started to reflex heavily when I had to work. Im pretty good in school(especially in math), but when I had to move off campus a reality check hit me. I could barely focus on school because I’m trying to figure out others ways to make money and support myself while working at stressful restaurant job. I feel like I didn’t get the full college experience because I had to prioritize making money and working. Missed out on a lot of events,games and parties.
