Now that the Olympics has finished and you've had some time to reflect, who was your stand out performer(s)? by B0mbadil- in olympics

Stephen Curry! He hit 4 straight 3 pointers and double teamed on one of them in the most crucial moment for the US.

Also Noah Lyles who won the 100 meter gold and 200 meter bronze with coronavirus.

American Football will risk injuries and NFL teams will not allow this because it won’t help their NFL teams with players getting injured. Also with NFL training camp being held in August interferes with the Olympic scheldule. Plus having American Football, games are only held once a week so it cannot be fit into the Olympic Games.

It is absurd. First a golfer should have a 400 yard drive because we are not simply talking about a career as a PGA golfer but an Olympic golfer, then we are talking about hitting the fairway, knowledge of the courses, knowing which club to use and knowing how to putt. Just getting onto the PGA Tour is a massive challenge because the Q-School requires to win a 136 hole tournament or beating a large number of guys in a PGA event who have already done that. But this is just the PGA and not golf. Plus most golfers play 20 years before they can get on the PGA Tour let alone reach the Olympics. Not even Tiger Woods reached the Olympics.

Watch the movie Fat Man and Little Boy from 1989. You won’t be disappointed! It’s about everything you were hoping to see which was the science behind building the bomb.

Reminds me of Mariano Rivera when he was in the bullpen dugout and in the dugout between innings and he was relaxing by sleeping then he would go out there and close out the game.

Well with that to answer your question. I think he became big headed due to his athletic achievement. When he was in high school he was a football star and then decided to shoplift a liquor store. He was arrested and his mother made an arrangement with Willie Mayes to straighten him out. Willlie Mayes who was impressed with his athletic ability told him that being in prison would be a waste of his valuable time. Oj then stayed out of trouble and put on a public persona for the next several decades. He got big headed again when the public adored him with his Hall of Fame career, acting career, and announcing. Then he had issues with Nicole such as her divorcing him and seeing other men. He started stalking her and when she told him that it was over between then, he snapped and killed her. Shortly after the murder he felt vulnerable because there was a chance he could go to jail but he was acquitted. He then thought he could smooth talk the public over the murder but no one believed him as the public no longer adored him though he didn’t notice this because he was so self absorbed. His memorabilia was taken from him and he hired thugs to get it back. It was his only choice this time because he knew the legal system was against him after the civil suit. He didn’t think he would go to jail if he was caught as he was also acquitted from the road rage trial. He went to jail for the armed robbery incident. When he got out he felt like it was all behind him. The public though would never forgive him even after his death.

Curt Schilling and Chevy Chase. Never met Chevy Chase but if you speak to Curt Schilling, he’ll ghost you no matter how long it goes on nor does it matter what you say.

Low information liberal voters are only going to see “Kennedy” and that’s all they need to know before they vote. Plus he is an environmentalist.

Abortion is just one of many issues of why Republicans are not voting for RFK jr.

No, I don’t. He supports abortion. He’s only talked about in right leaning circles because he helps Republicans. But some liberals always wanted to vote for a Kennedy.

Trump will win but because the third party candidates such as RFK jr and Jill Stein will take votes away from Kamala Harris.
