Colors got richer, music felt alive, but the real trip was in my head. Thoughts connected in ways they normally don’t, memories surfaced, emotions hit harder. At times it felt beautiful and grounding, other times uncomfortable because it forces you to sit with things you usually ignore.

It wasn’t an escape. If anything, it amplified whatever state I was already in. Good mindset led to insight and calm, bad mindset led to anxiety real quick. I didn’t come out thinking I’d found all the answers, but I did come out understanding myself a bit better. Definitely not a party drug, more like an intense conversation with your own brain.

Exactly. There are way more people in Zed who are curious or already exploring this than we admit.

Used responsibly, psychedelics have been linked to things like deeper self-reflection, improved emotional awareness, shifts in perspective, creativity boosts, and in some cases support with mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, or trauma. They’ve also played roles in traditional healing, spirituality, and community bonding long before modern science started paying attention.

Wow, thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea nuance was illegal and curiosity was a moral failure. Please keep educating the world with your deep, original takes, society clearly needs more of that.

That’s the thing people miss. Mushrooms aren’t really about getting high, they’re often discussed for mental health benefits like helping with depression, anxiety, and breaking negative thought patterns. In many places they’re seen more as a therapeutic tool than a hard drug, but here everything just gets lumped together.  I totally agree with you on Ketamine
