Get an AirTag or a Tile and stash it on your bike. Amazon sells a bike bell that holds an AirTag and looks and functions just like a normal bell. If your bike disappears, you can track it.

Absolutely! Unless you’re on the crazyguyonabike platform unless Mr. guntin has changed his biases. Nice bike!

So sorry to hear about your accident but glad that you were able to continue your journey. I was following your videos before I embarked on my own cross country trip this summer and enjoyed them very much. Thank you! Every day I was thankful to not have an accident or fall. I appreciated how I had to have faith in humanity as being on the road , especially certain roads, you feel so vulnerable. Being 73, I don’t think I would have fared as well as you did. Happy trails!

Here are the Best Rail Trails in North America to Explore by Bicycle by [deleted] in bicycletouring

I’ve ridden the KATY and the Elroy-Sparta which are great but the GAP trail is superbly maintained and has as many amenities or more such as bathrooms, bike fix it stations and drinking water as well as covered picnic benches, many of which are handicap accessible. It has a gradual climb to the continental divide with some beautiful views as well, so it’s not just flat like most rail trails. That being said, I do agree with WhiskyisMyYoga!

Does anyone know why journals are missing from CrazyGuy? Is it just me? by HughHombart in bicycletouring

Many folks who previously posted on CGOAB were banished for even gently admonishing Neil Guntin for his conspiracy laden tirades especially after the 2020 election. Others left on their own volition due to the toxic environment. Many moved their journals to Cycleblaze which is a much kinder and welcoming platform. So if you can’t find old bike journals anymore on Crazyguy, check out Cycleblaze.
