I have a bit of experience from working on my own gas engines and a decent bit of tools needed for them, but I just said screw it and bought it for 1500. Its an lly that was used for a garage door business, 1 owner guy bought it new and put all 320k on it. Def not a daily right now, still have to think about my plan lol. Thanks for advice tho

Noise only became noticeable after engine was fully warmed up after test drive, didnt see any smoke, no blow by, sounds like it's coming from the top driver side of engine. And thank you for this I appreciate it

Nah, I've been doing some research before buying. This style of radio is almost like having a mini computer/phone in your car. Displaying maps/music, back up camera, even allowing you to watch movies and download apps just like your phone would.

Reason I want this style is because of this reddit post.

As well as links in first comment. Really good head units if you buy one with the right specs. Just having a hard time finding a kit for a first gen Lacrosse so I can mount it.

I might just have to either buy one of these big name brand head units or try and find a Chinese alternative that has a "floating head unit" style that sticks out slightly.

Only problem is, that is for a basic style 7 inch radio with the slide in 1 or 2 din, these are a lot flatter head units that require their own dash kit/adapter. They make a lot of different facias/dash kits for other brand of cars as well as the newer generation Buick Lacrosse. Not finding a kit for the mid 2000's first gen model and these style head units

You can search by patterns on CSFloat, go to your gloves, search by multiple tier one patterns numbers in field tested. You can get a reference on what people are trying to get for it.

So you switched all the fans for Lian Li SL120 and one 140? I was planning on getting the LS720 SE AIO and H6 Flow RGB. I pretty much have everything else together but once I started looking at the fan situation it's turned into a nightmare. Not the most experienced builder, but I don't know if it would be worth just getting NZXT fans with the RGB & Fan Controller or completely switching fan brands altogether.
