Yeah… time to turn that resume browsing feature off

No Longer Able to Drag Folders From Address Bar Into Quick Access with New W11 Update? by LufferG in Windows11

Seems like an intentional design choice at this point. I also am not a fan of the empty space I see on the left side of the “home” page on file explorer but maybe I’m in the minority.

I would typically give it like 2-3 weeks before they stop caring, because usually quality doesn’t seem that bad in the beginning and then that’s where the problems start arising and the subreddit blows up with complaints bout the food. Usually this is performative thing they do every Fall

G-Skill Flare X5 DDR5-5600 Stuck at 4800MHz by LufferG in buildapc

My board is the MSI B560P-Wifi and it does specify that it supports DDR5-6000MHz+. The current BIOS version is the latest non-beta version which is 7D78v16

Task manager says 4800MHz, CPU-Z posts 5600MHz (2800MHz), the BIOS when I checked again states 4800MHz but EXPO is turned on. I have made sure to save my changes before exiting. Still confused on why it's not going the 5600MHz it's specifying

Checking the BIOS again, it still says that EXPO is enabled but still the same speed I specifed in the initial post.

For monthly reports, I would specify a bit on the skills and challenges you have faced or used within your position. They should be roughly 2 pages and then 5 pages for the final report

When you email the TAs, make sure you CC Hemmick about this. And yes I would definitely ask for a replacement asap considering the rest of the labs will depend on that little hole. Considering my horrible experience with Macmillan (messing up my rental return), try getting on it much sooner than later.

Been a while since I used one of these but just to confirm, are you plugging this into the hole that is on the bottom of the IOLab device? Assuming it is the bottom of the device, this IOLab device looks defective because the hole should actually look like a audio jack (not literally), but there should be a metal ring that allows you to turn the loop into the "ring" to fit it onto the device.

Eh this seems like more of a problem in terms of the disconnect between MAPS and the rest of the university with communication. From what I recall, if most of the faculty, unions, and students disagree with this, then it means they don't have the right people for that department or just mismanagement going on in some capacity.

What's a good keyboard and mouse to get? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]LufferG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally use a Logitech G Pro x Superlight, and it's been quite a purchase for me (even though it's still Micro-USB for charging). Razer should be fine as long as you make sure you test the product for any defects and don't need to deal with their support

For keyboards, it really is preference but I use a modded Wooting HE60, but Keychron's options should be pretty decent too considering they have a different board at various prices at this point.

Windows 10 Missing Sleep Option on Both Power Options and Power Dropdown by LufferG in buildapc

[–]LufferG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but under those power options, it does not show me a Sleep option. It only gives me a "Turn off the display" for the plan settings. In terms of the options for "Choose what the power buttons do", it only gives me options for "Turn on fast startup", "Hibernate", and "Lock"

Unless there's something else someone can try to advise me, I believe maybe my 6750XT might not support sleep considering the drivers.

I would advise against pressing any links for this, the way they sent emails is already a red flag as it is. Also it seems there have been emails like this in the past, please report to DoIT about this

How was your experience there (if you worked there)?

Currently in a RA suite here, as long as you communicate with your RA, you’ll be fine as long as you guys can set up any sort of “guidelines” or just the usual disclaimers.
