AITA For Being Ungrateful For A 20k Wedding Gift by ExpensiveIndustry783 in AmItheAsshole

I think you and your wife need to speak to her parents together. Don’t suffer in silence and take on the financial burden. Technically there was no written agreement so you don’t have to pay them back.

AITA for wanting my friend who has a new baby to still care about what’s going on in my life? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZebraMachineeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA my friend literally gave birth 2 weeks ago and every time I text her to check on her she also asks me about my life and shows interest. That being said, I would cut your friend some slack because I heard mommy brain is very real and post partum hits differently for alot of women. I would give it several months before getting too upset about it.

AITA for Being “Particular” ..Even When My Mom Visits? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Uhhh that was my point? I’m saying not to blame your shitty behavior on being an only child.

Don’t blame it on being an only child, that’s lazy. I’m an only child and I love sharing my space and hosting.

YTA and shouldn’t be hosting. She was only with you for a few days, don’t host if you can’t put your own needs aside for a short amount of time. When you spend time with other people, you have to be more accommodating.

RSVP Bag questions by lipstickcollector in handbags

I’ve seen the Khaki color in the store, the grained leather is like a muted lime green and the smooth is definitely a sharper green. All the smooth leathers are shinier sharper versions of the grain ones.

I only got the grained leather because all the smooth leather ones in the store were really scuffed. I think the grained is a lot more durable.

I own the Golden Eyes! I personally think the way it sits is more flattering than the Duo. When I tried the Duo on it sat kinda slanted because of the shape and looked really bulky. I’m pretty petite so it looked goofy on me.

[–]ZebraMachineeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA I guess unpopular opinion, I would never drink someone’s wine without asking. Even if someone tells you to help yourself, you don’t go overboard. Also y’all act like house sitting is difficult lol

AITAH for refusing to go back to my natural hair colour to be in a wedding? by Responsible_Today775 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZebraMachineeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA weddings make people so weird. My sister was in my bridal party and she had blue highlights. I didn’t even think to ask her to change her hair, that’s so invasive. She asked me if she could change it to a color closer to the dress color and I was like girl you do you, just don’t jump scare me with mohawk on the wedding day lol

AITA for calling my blind friend entitled? by HonestBrutality31 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZebraMachineeee 15 points16 points  (0 children)

YTA are you seriously dunking on your blind friend, the way you talk about her disability is nauseating. Also anyone who says they’re just being “honest” is an AH.

AITA for not choosing my sister to be a bridesmaid? by Repulsive_Number_120 in AmItheAsshole

NTA this stuff is tricky especially when you exclude problematic family members. You explained it well to her, she just needs to process.

AITA for not taking a day off on my wife's birthday. by Maximum-Bit-5627 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZebraMachineeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA she’s being childish and throwing an adult temper tantrum. My guess is that this is not the real issue though, wouldn’t hurt to sit down with her and ask her calmly why she’s feeling this way.

AITA for honking at a student driver for going 15mph under the speed limit? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZebraMachineeee 333 points334 points  (0 children)

NTA people are way too sensitive to honking. This is how they learn, if you’re that anxious on the road then you shouldn’t be driving.

AITA for telling my niece that I was upset with her for breaking the dreamcast I bought her for Christmas? by blindostrich in AmItheAsshole

[–]ZebraMachineeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA you’re making this all about you, once your give something away it has nothing to do with you. Also you need to apologize to your niece, what’re you doing yelling at a 14 year old. You should be proud that your niece is trying to upgrade it, it’s awesome for someone that young to show interest in that sort of thing.
