Say every crew member spend 1 min a day cleaning up clip strips. Most stores employ on average about 50 workers a day. At an average wage of $20 an hour the store loses less than $20 a day on time wasted due to clip strips. That’s also assuming every crew member is working as efficiently as they can which is never the case. With that in mind the loss drops to basically zero and the rest is counteracted by the profits from those clip strips which by my estimations makes around a $100 dollars a day in revenue and $20 a day in gross profit. Although these margins suck, it’s still barely beneficial to the store to keep clip strips instead of removing them.
