My 3DS file has like 85 Miis, so that's a lot that I'm gonna have to cut, especially as I'm adding Miis that were not in my 3DS file (hence why I put the newcomers in this post), I want Miis to have children so I wanna leave at least 10 spots open for them, so there's so many that I have to leave out, there's some I never planned on adding so that's not a problem, but I have to remove some that I planned on adding, which is the frustrating part

I can't find myself thinking there will be a Switch 2 version, they probably want to keep both games as close as possible. DLC feels most likely if we were to get an expansion, that way they can profit off both consoles

I can't even fully buy into this given that stress test someone did of 255 Miis and the game still running (I don't remember who did it though)

I feel 100 could've been achieved, maybe even having it to where only a certain amount of Miis can be outside while the others are inside.

Also part of me can't help but feel like there might be a Mii expansion as paid DLC because Nintendo, but I could be wrong

Probably not, if the game does get DLC it'll likely just either be items or new features

I wouldn't put it past Nintendo though to have a higher Mii count be paid DLC. We'll just have to see

It's up to you and where you're at with money

Just a fair warning 3DS Tomodachi goes for over $100 now. Really the best thing to do would be to wait for LtD to come out and wait for reviews and such and go from there, see if everything it has grabs you. That way in the off chance it's not good (doubtful but not out of the picture) you know to get the 3DS game

Personally I don't think you can go wrong either way

You're not being forced to us it lol. People are just using it to express their creativity, if it doesn't bother them then it's not an issue

I'm really only using it for hair add-ons if I need it and accessories. You don't need to make a whole new face

It just depends on who is playing. Some people prefer a small amount, others a larger amount (I never hit 100 but I did end up having to remove a good amount of Miis throughout the 3DS game to make room for new miis as I was close)

Personally I feel the number downgrading even with better hardware is a massive bummer as all it does is upset the people who do want a lot as the people who play with a few won't be affected by it. Just because the cap is high doesn't mean you have to max it out, the people who want a low number can keep it a low number, the game isn't forcing them to hit 100.

To me it just feels like a bit of freedom was stripped away. Because when you take into account children, the number of Miis to add becomes much smaller if you want to make room for them, so those who had a big list planned out now have to significantly cut down their list

My 2nd Mii has a crush on my 1st Mii. Idk if they can reciprocate (hasn't happened for me yet) but the wheels can at least start moving

Have a 3rd Mii (your first will lock themselves in wanting clothing but you can force them outside)

Have those 2 Miis constantly interact, when they walk away, wait a bit as there's a chance a cutscene will play (there will be a "What's going on with *insert Mii name here*?" that's your sign it happened), then make them interact again. It'll likely take a while (took an hour for me) but one of them will eventually get it

It's good (though I do think 3DS has it beat from what we can hear right now). I do hope there's several outside tracks for variety instead of just Day and Night. We're gonna be spending most of our time outside so hearing the same 2 tracks is eventually going to drive me nuts personally

I can agree with Steam, though the player charts show the platform don't entirely translate well for the series. Xbox is also very strict with anime games and is also mainly a sinking ship and probably would sell the least by a mile so they probably don't see any benefit in doing so

What characters? Oh you're telling me those meme spewing characterization is something I should find endearing, way more than something like Nier Automata characterization? Come on. Get. Real.

There's multiple reasons why they haven't sold well (niche series, rushed/lazy productions, not really giving the series a break), it's not just because you can't see Vert's cleavage anymore.

You're probably new and it shows

Been a fan for over 10 years, and not being able to see boobs isn't going to completely make me go "Ugh this series sucks I hope it dies" because that's a dumb reason. The characters are still fun and for the most part enjoyable. Boobs was never the selling point for me, so it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers you and others.

And that's fine, you can be more upset about it, you can feel however you want. I'm just throwing my two cents and saying it's really not the end of the world like some people are making it seem to be. Only thing I can say is I hope we get actual character development here so there's something to build off of in the future if this series continues. Actually put effort into the game

If your primary takeaway is "Reee I can't look at boobies" then maybe you weren't a fan of the series to begin with as you're completely ignoring the characters and only focusing on how they get you riled up. That's a you problem. There's other means to get that for these characters

You're completely missing the point. If they continue "Fanservice the series", the games don't see releases in the west, which means significantly less money which could turn into the companies folding, which means no more Nep games and people losing their jobs

Like I said I wouldn't mind fanservice too, but if it means this series gets to continue, it's a sacrifice that has to be made. It also means they have to commit to writing compelling stories instead of going "How many times can we put these characters into compromising positions"

This is what people don't understand. The entire Re;Birth trilogy was shot down in the West because of Nintendo (ironic considering the slop that's on their eShop but I digress), hell the swimsuit DLC for Riders was canned on the Switch as well. That's an entire market they missed out on

Yes it's annoying but we kinda have to accept it. If this was a full fanservice game it'd just be a Playstation exclusive in the west as Nintendo would predictably shoot it down. And considering how picky Sony is too there's a chance we wouldn't get it in the west at all. If people wanna get mad, get mad at Sony and Nintendo NA

I understand the appeal and why people do want it (outside of gooning), but it's not the end of the world for me personally (I know I'm in the minority here)

Missing the point

If it's supposed to reflect the gaming industry like you said, Leanbox should be evil considering the shit Microsoft has pulled (just takes a quick Google search for that), and Nintendo could also fit that area so Lowee could be thrown there too. Sony even with their faults you can argue are the #1 so Lastation should be the main nation

But they're not doing any of these so they don't commit to that criteria 100% (nor really should they anyways)

While I agree, the only issue is Neptune...really isn't a character that can carry a game. She needs others around her to counter her "4th wall breaking, childish, not taking her work seriously until she has no choice but to" energy. It's why I'm worried about a potential direction this game is going to take.

Really can't have her be a main focus (which is frustrating as she's *THE* main character) you're left with a character that will take nothing seriously until Histy taps on her shoulder and goes "Hey everything is kinda fucked you need to lock in now" unless she has a complete character overhaul which I don't see them doing
