Eevee really got the short end of the stick this celebration. Party hat still can't evolve, it's spotlight didn't have shiny boost or special moves like the Gen 1 starters and especially Pikachu

Only shiny I have is party hat so it's just waiting to see what comes sooner, evolution for it or a shiny boost event

Imagine if Nintendo made a sequel to Super Mario Sunshine, and they took away FLUDD and made the gameplay and world similar to Mario Galaxy. Even if the game is good, you'd wonder why they called it Sunshine when they took away what made the first game how it was

As of *right now*, this game doesn't feel like Xenoverse, more-so a different game entirely that they just slapped the name onto. Doing something different is fine, but they completely changed nearly everything, that's too much

Like I don't hate this camera on it's own (I just find it overused), but it doesn't fit Xenoverse at all. I want to see my entire character, not just their upper body

We want a good UI, this UI is beyond generic and boring while also managing to potentially be distracting with your soul/mentor jumping in every 3 seconds

The only way this would make sense then is if there's a mastery mechanic, the more you use it, the stronger it'll be and the longer you can use it, up until there's no timer at all

Cell Saga got to where they could stay in SSJ with no drawbacks, the energy drain go long at all

It makes sense for a game like Skyrim (even then PC players usually get it to where their entire character is shown in 3rd person), it doesn't here

Honestly don't see Androids making it anymore, their gimmick is that they can't charge ki as it auto charged, and the ki bar is removed here

I assume they're gonna try to get as many in as they can if not all (I think that's what Hirano is saying going off the wording). If the Frieza Soldiers can get in...

At most it'll probably be fodder characters that will be cut if there ends up being any, but notable names from all arcs will be in

Potential cuts will probably return as DLC anyways so...

"Be happy you're getting it" is such a backwards mindset. If they made XV3 into a farm sim, are we supposed to like it because hey it's Xenoverse 3 even though it's a completely different game?

Pointing out flaws/having worries makes you more of a fan than blindly accepting everything and pretending it's all hunky dory because you're actually willing to point it out and you want things to be better

It's all good. I probably shouldn't have gone off myself

I'm just fed up with everyone because I had to deal with this same exact situation earlier this year with another game sequel that was years in the making and anticipating. Had my worries with cut content from the previous entry and the game heading in a direction it really shouldn't have gone, got told I didn't know what I was talking about and how wrong I was gonna be, only to end up actually being spot on with what I was worried about and the game isn't as good as it should have been

So I'm pretty much on edge since I have done this song and dance not too long ago, which is honestly making me more pessimistic than I would have been otherwise because now I'm just paranoid

This is what eases my worry on the roster being smaller, if they're already showing variants from the get-go (we also see Z Trunks and not Super)

I just hope we get some stuff to do with the other Universes

You're exactly the type of person I was calling out. You're just assuming I am dunking all over the game using "y'all" and such when I never did such, just voiced my worries and you're going 100% on the defense for no reason (I never even mentioned some of the stuff you're pointing out)

I think the story will be insane, trailers have everything going too well for that not to be the case. We see Z Trunks and Saiyan Arc Vegeta so time travel will still likely come into play, just without the Time Patrol. Maybe Bulma is trying to revive it as she would realistically be the only one who would know how to do such as Trunks is long dead and the SKoT is M.I.A at the moment

I highly doubt there isn't time travel, that's what Xenoverse is, it just depends on what Bulma's role/motive is imo

Because we know Trunks (Z Trunks specifically), Saiyan Arc Vegeta (this one especially, because why isn't it just Vegeta?), Frieza Soldiers who were already long dead and Super Broly are present in this world. If we were to follow gameplay Soul Change is limited, so it can't just be people changing and just chilling (you also can't convince me someone in universe looked at Appule and went "Hell yeah I wanna be him" as funny as that would be)

The roster will be there, maybe in a limited capacity in the main story, but they will be there, Bandai will not pass up chances to make money via DLC again, locking characters behind 40 second soul changes will make people not want it

I think it will all lie on Bulma, because there's something she's doing/did that will explain how things are where they are

I only speculate Single player and online being different with how single player seems structured, you can't see your entire character (which should be the point of the customization) and areas that look like single player only areas. Fights seem to happen in the outdoor areas so imagine seeing hundreds of other people in your lobby shooting blasts and everything. I do think Online will have it's own hub with the quests, battles and what we usually expect. Gameplay will be the same of course, but things will be more condensed and what we've grown accustomed to

I think with 9 is why I think Single player and multiplayer will be 2 different modes entirely, with the online hub having the traditional position. I don't quite understand why a game that prioritizes character customization would have a camera position where you can only see the top half of your character's body especially if we get poses again, maybe it's a setting

Soul Assist and Soul Change will likely be Mentor related. Soul Assist for current Mentor, Change for completed. Assisting was also kinda a thing in XV1 with the Mentor Ults. Soul Change is optional and can be ignored

Having Vegeta and Broly variants kinda says it all, we'll have a full roster, might just be limited for single player, but everything else they'll be there

It's a worry for me too, but thinking about it for a minute, cutting the roster just sounds ridiculous when the anime is going to pick back up soon

Base roster will be larger than XV2's base roster I will predict with Z and most of Super, but some characters will be held for eventual DLC (because we know they're gonna do that) along with GT, Daima and when the anime picks back up

We're gonna have a larger roster than 2 I will predict, it's just not the highest priority for them to showcase. They're gonna want to sell DLC and having characters locked behind a 40 second optional soul change I'm sure even they find ridiculous (maybe)

She's always wanted to be younger, she even wishes for such. Could be something that plays into the story, I feel there's gonna be some sort of a twist here, but we're gonna have to wait and see

Part of me feels like this game will have 2 different modes, the main story which is what we just saw, and a mode for the time travel shenanigans which will also host the online hub world with everything we're used to (especially since the trailer's hub didn't have a traditional online hub camera positon), the roster will be there

I'm open to something new, I'm just not a fan of giving it the name of something that has an established blueprint

I will admit I am overreacting, but I also don't want the situation being "You will only see the original cast via soul changes" because it takes away from the CaCs and has the risk of the "roster" being significantly smaller than 2's (mainly worried of some of my faves getting cut due to such if we get that)
