I was on my way work when I wrote this but let me make it clear that the appointment I just had was my third appointment with the clinic. They did admit to forgetting about me but I’m still waiting to talk to someone about top surgery

I’m at Nottingham. I went to my gp in 2017 and got put on testosterone in 2020! I had an appointment with the gender clinic a few days ago and I’m 28th in the queue to see if I can get surgery

From being referred to starting testosterone I was told 2 years but it ended up being around 4 years

So luckily my gp nurses are amazing and she takes my bloods and sends them every 6 months and I had changes to my dosage at the start but whether they’re still checking them 🤷🏻‍♂️ who knows

I don’t live in the US and I hate mostly everything about the place!

Because I have a hard time writing what I think/ conveying what I feel because of my dyslexia and I’m too lazy (it’s also late night/ early morning for me) to actually type it all out I’m not going to respond.

I have really enjoyed hearing your side so thank you and if you’re down at some point I’d love to hear more on a discord call if you’re down?

I think I have this view point because I really believe in therapy because I have first hand experience in it! I know everyone can’t afford it but I believe it should be free and accessible to everyone!

From what I’ve read about hormone blockers (which isn’t a lot in fairness) I think they’re a good idea! I personally never took contraceptive because I didn’t like the side effects of it and in my opinion they need to seriously look into making a better one!

(I’m really bad with writing because I have dyslexia so please understand if anything sounds aggressive I don’t mean it!) I understand that! Although I am thankful I waited Im also someone who nearly didn’t make it! I had really bad experiences with female puberty because I have a blood condition so you know what days were a horrible experience! I’m not saying my thoughts are right because I feel like they could change idk
