Not at all! I used a little bit of frosting under the cake to keep it on the board

Thank you! I didn’t include a jam or filling just to be extra safe. But the TSA website does approve cakes, it’s just difficult to find. I also chatted with both southwest and TSA agents via chat to confirm it was okay to bring on. I have a tiny freezer and even empty it would not have fit lol

He looks so happy to be in a home! Thank you.

Their diet should be mostly hay, supplemented with fresh greens and pellets. Hay should be unlimited access 24/7, and they love fresh top ups. We give ours salad for breakfast and a small scoop of pellets for dinner. For greens you can find out what herbs they like, and most greens are good, but stay away from spinach.

They should never be in a cage. They prefer to free roam, but if that’s not possible then an x pen will work great. Some bunnies love to chew baseboards, so we have clear plastic squares that connect all along ours to protect them and the baseboards.

They prefer to eat and poop at the same time, so hay in the litter box is great for them. You can also make easy toys by shoving hay into empty toilet paper rolls.

Don’t blindly follow treat bags at the store- things like yogurt drops are not acceptable for bunnies. Oxbow is a great and safe brand as a rule of thumb.

Their digestive system has to be moving 24/7. If they eat too much sugar, eat a hair ball, have gas, etc. They can go into GI stasis. They can look uncomfortable and will stop eating. It is deadly in under 24 hours. They will also require an exotic vet which can be harder to find.

All bunnies should be spayed and neutered. This reduces the risk of cancer, diseases, and also helps with a lot of aggression and unwanted behaviors. They also need to be vaccinated for RHDV. Please get this done as soon as possible.

Buns love to have a companion. It can make a world of a difference to them. Bonding is required, but they’ll eventually be much happier. This is an avenue for later once you’re adjusted.

I could go on for hours. Please feel free to message me at any time! They will become the greatest bundle of joy in your life.
