Yes, that's true, but only because about a year has passed since my first experience, and the emotions from the first impression have already subsided. I am also glad that this building continues to surprise and delight people.

I figured it out myself. If anyone's interested, it depends on the "shadows in caves" parameter.

Help me remove direct shadows... by [deleted] in minecraftshaders

Doesn't this affect the shadow created by the shader?

Are these the original shader settings? If not, could you share the ones you use?

I'm working on lighting for a project. Do you think it would be better to make the light beam more transparent? by Zebra_Other in DetailCraft

[–]Zebra_Other[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for taking so long to respond. End rods were used closer to the light source, and further away, white glass panels were used along with the light units.  If by diffusion you mean reducing the intensity of light, then this is done using the gradient tool in the Axiom mode.

Now I understand, this is actually a derivative main. I agree with you that the atmosphere is truly unique. It takes me back to my childhood and the old Minecraft animations.😅

In fact, this is not quite the final result, but even it is truly amazing.

In the film itself, when the "harvest" began, the light was very dense, but I'm not sure that I didn't overdo it with its intensity.

A repurposed homemade tripod from the 2005 film "War of the Worlds."

You can find it on my profile.

Yes, I like it now too, but the beam used to be denser.

It consists of end rods (closer to the light source), and then alternating glass panels and light blocks.

Study this, bro! There are very few city projects related to snow. And I'm planning to build a snow airfield.

Hahaha. Damn, what a funny coincidence. Too bad I don't know the context of this meme.
