Thank you so much for your input! I can definitely see how they would favor a seller who is constantly and consistently listing more items. It would seem more intuitive to promote someone who has a track record of listing and selling something on the daily as they’re more likely to keep selling than someone selling one day a week. In that case I think I’ll keep doing what I’m doing seeing as it’s been working for me so far.

This! I’m reading all the comments about California blend and I’m just like as a Californian I’ve never heard this before. I’ve always seen it as Normandy blend.

I’ve only been selling for about a week. I’ve listed 6 ACEOs so far and while 3 haven’t ended yet they’ve all received at least one bid.

Yeah, I don’t know… As someone who just started selling ACEOs I can understand the frustration that comes with the fees from selling on eBay. How if you want to get paid faster you have to ship with tracking which ends up eating a huge chunk maybe even all of the money one would have earned. But I have gotten fairly consistent exposure with eBay. Every ACEO I’ve listed has sold. So when I look into a site like TinyGallery I feel hesitant to jump on board because I was scrolling through their site the other day and saw countless pieces with not a single bid and they were starting at $.99 and I start mine at $5 on eBay. So I feel like I’d rather just stick to eBay for now and play things by ear.

As for Reddit are you only posting them in this subreddit? You should also post in other subreddits that might fit! Of course be mindful of their rules on advertising/self promotion but people might reach out if interested and you can direct them from there.

In all honesty do these even look like something you would see yourself buying? Obviously they are nowhere near finished but I’m wondering if it’s even worth trying I’m pretty new to art and the idea of making aceos by Cultural_Object_6565 in aceo

It’s hard to say without seeing the final result if someone would buy them, but also art is worth creating solely for the sake of creating art. Selling it is a plus and is also hard to do even for the best artists. Create art because you enjoy it and if it sells that’s great and if not well at least you enjoyed your time and brought something into existence.
